A production company I am working with set up an appointment for me here with Jerry. I arrived and asked if I could speak with him. That is what production told me to do. The front desk lady, I wish I remembered her name, was rude and dismissive. She said, “no you can’t speak to him. He’s not here. You talk to ME. I run the front end.” I tried to explain the situation and that I wasn’t just trying to cut the line but that an appointment had been set up for me by production with Jerry. If you would just go and get him he could explain as well. She kept saying no. She made me feel like I was lying, I was not lying. I was made to sit and wait for 2 hours. Then she tried to charge me $120. I explained that there was a card on file, that production was paying for the appointment. I said if she was confused she could just ask Jerry, and he could explain. She said , “your sister paid when she came in. Now you pay.” I literally called my sister and was like,”did you pay anything?” And she said, “no. Of course not.” And the woman said, “nope. She paid.” I said, “check again. No she did not.” At this point I was so frustrated as upset, I had an anxiety attack and I was just bawling my eyes out in the lobby, continuing to wait. Production had to call the center , and had to multiple times because I saw them not answering, and then I was finally taken out back for my appointment/physical. This was after I sat there and waited for 3 hours. I had to apologize while doing my eye exam because my eyesight wasn’t as good because I had been bawling. After the physical I saw Jerry and he was like, “how come you didn’t ask for me?” I said, “I tried and tried to. Multiple times. I was told no.” I had a horrible time and was not treated well by the front desk.
At first there was a long wait. In between the lobby and the room went fast. But I waited a bit in the room I even called my employer. The nurse the flew in after hearing me talk to my employer was very charismatic and started rambling on about what I put on my application. Did not drug test me just rambling on about how my doctor needs to do this and that. Then rolled her eyes and left. I had better humane response from the nurse I spoke to on the phone.
First an foremost I want to thank the staff for the awesome services they provided. I was a walk-in, an normally with walk- ins, there is normally a wait because other people scheduled appointments ahead of you BUT!!!!! There wasn’t a long wait, they got me in an out quick an efficiently. The staff was Very nice. Out of all the Concentras that I have visited, I would highly recommend people go to this one.
It took over an hour for the person to get a blood pressure and a blood draw. 3 hours total for the whole visit that was only needing a blood draw and a physical. The MD that did my physical randomly told me to prepare for a disease that can affect my ability to get pregnant/carry and to not be surprised if there are a lot of tears and heartbreak if I ever wanted to try and get pregnant. This information was not asked for, nor was it relevant to my visit. I left so upset because of the information that I got out of the blue. Later that evening I received a call saying my blood draw, that took 2 sticks and me talking the practitioner through the procedure, was unable to be used because they didn’t have the correct box to send it in. ?. I will never return to that facility.
Checking in was not a problem, it really was just the wait, the only thing I needed was a flu shot, that takes less than 2 minutes. Saw other people get helped before me when I was there first. People walking around when I felt they could have given me the shot. It really was the wait. I believe it took at least 1/1/2 or longer just to get a flu shot. Ridiculous.
To be honest I packed a lunch this time because normally you can expect to be there for hours. I must have gotten there close to closing because I ddnt wait that long. As always the staff was professional, polite and lighthearted. I've been to several locations with this company. I can honestly say my experience with the staff, Doctors and physiatrists has always been pleasant. This is a five star company in my book
Good service. But unfortunately, it is not in network of UnitedHealthcare for ear cleaning emergencies. If I know earlier, I would wait for my Stamps appointment to save the $180.
Both times I was forced to come here for pre-employment took over 4 hours. Only leaving a review because I got here at 9:30am, it’s 1:30pm and I’m still sitting here waiting for everything to be completed. I won’t even get started on the staff. I would say avoid at all costs, or don’t come here if you have anything to do, because you will literally spend all day here.
The shots hurt real bad here. The 3.5hr wait hurts much worse. Three hours in still have spoken to the dr for a physical. Crazy. Don’t come here ever.
It’s a great place, with great staff. However, you’ll spend hours waiting. Seriously I came at 8am and was in the waiting room for a hour and a half.
