Conestoga Tours

Just returned last night (4/14/17) from a multi-day (6) tour of Charleston, Beaufort, Hilton Head and Savannah. This was our second trip with Conestoga and we were not disappointed. The trip was wonderful! Visited a lot of great sites. Had step-on guides in both Hilton Head and Savannah which gave us awesome history lessons of both places. We also visited some great sites including Magnolia Plantation and Gardens and Fort Sumter. There were included carriage rides in Beaufort and Charleston...both gave us great "up-close" looks at these areas. The hotels were all better than I had expected, as far as quality. While there were a few minor "issues" at some of the hotels...none were very serious and were corrected to our satisfaction (the small problems were not the fault of Conestoga or any employee of Conestoga but we're caused by the hotel and/or it's staff). Included meals were awesome and when I stepped on the scale this morning I was very surprised that I hadn't gained a ton of weight. We ate often and well and our driver and escort kept us fed and hydrated between meals but supplying everyone on the coach with iced bottled water and snacks. Our driver was CJ Solt...a top notch driver with years of experience, a genuine concern for the well-being and happiness of his passengers and a great sense of humor. He kept us safe and kept us laughing. I felt very safe with CJ behind the wheel. He maneuvered that huge coach through tight areas that I would have difficulty driving a car through. He never got upset with other drivers or the crazy traffic on 95 around Washington. Definitely one calm, cool and collected individual. This was our first trip with an escort and that added even more fun and pleasure to this tour. Our escort was Bruce Richter. He was an absolutely perfect tour guide. He not only managed our day to day activities but made sure that we all had the best trip possible. He literally took care of all of our wants and needs every day. He did everything in his power to ensure that each and every one us had an incredible trip. Bruce has a vibrant, caring, happy personality that makes him a superb tour escort. Both CJ and Bruce are assets to Conestoga Tours. They both go above and beyond what they are required to do and I appreciate that. If you ever have the opportunity to travel with either of these gentlemen, (I hope I will again) you will be well cared for and have a wonderful trip. Couldn't have asked for a better week. Even the weather was perfect...not sure how they arranged that🤔 We've already booked another multi-day trip for August and a one day trip for October. Can't wait for the 2018 catalog to be released so we can start planning next year's vacations. I highly recommend Conestoga Tours.

It was a great trip to NYC! I highly recommend Lou! It was nice and efficient! Very accommodating!!

I payed 33.00 through a Face Book contact to go see the Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC I am a photographer and thought it would be a great trip! I was so wrong ! First the buss was dirty,bath rooms seats and the cup holder would not hold a empty cup! when we get to DC yes there was a lot of traffic bu this should have been thought of before hand,the driver did not want to deal with it so he suggested we wait till the end to go see the 2,000 cherry blossom trees! Now we were to meet at 5:00 and we would go well 5:00 was our time of departure so I thought how can we see them would It be from the bus? Yes it was we had about 20 minutes max to take pictures out of the bus the rest were taken from inside the bus! All the good shots had to be taken from inside the bus@When the driver said we would be going at 5:00 I thought well I payed to see them and photograph them so I walked all the way across DC and back to get the pictures i payed to see! The driver was to drop us off there but did not,not sure what he did! I however had blisters on my feet from walking and I was not at all happy seeing that my birthday was the next day and had to spend it off my feet! Now it took him five hours to get us home which should have taken 2 he got lost three times! Once he missed his exit second he put the wrong thing in his GPS and the third I have no clue! All I know is we all were exhausted and should have been home at a much earlier time!All in All it sucked! will be calling for my money back!

The seats are not comfortable for a trip.
