Connecticut Ear Nose & Throat: Sawyer Jeffrey A MD

I have read the other reviews and I disagree with the negative comments or negative reviews without comment. First, if you are going to give someone or something a rating of one star, have the decency to explain your opinion. Second, though Dr. Sawyer may seem "abrupt", he is very good at his profession and has been a wonderful doctor. Not all doctors have Five Star ratings when it comes to "bedside manner" however the most important factor in a doctor is their knowledge and ability to treat you. Dr. Sawyer has always answered my questions and before any procedure, I have taken it upon myself to research before it is done. Some amount of responsibility, for their own health, is required by the patient.

I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Sawyer and his staff. I received a friendly greeting upon my arrival. There was no waiting which was a pleasant surprise. I found Dr. Sawyer to have an excellent bedside manner. He listened to my concerns and I never felt rushed. This is probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a doctor’s office.

Myself is a physician. I was his patient for one time, and I was extremely disappointed at this doctor's way of dealing with his patient. He was reluctant to provide explanations, if not talking about keen to help his patient. What he did was trying to finish the encounter ASAP. Maybe he's different when he deals with patients that need more lucrative procedures. I want to distance myself as a doctor from this type of doctor, and I believe vast majority of my patients appreciate my approach to them. Think twice before you make appointment with him!

I've been seeing Dr. Sawyer for over 15 years now. Great office, great staff, very clean, no wait times, and quick appts. scheduled! Dr. Sawyer is very kind and not an alarmist, all of which keeps my family and I going back to his practice. Highly recommend.
