I applied twice to become better at what I do. I'm a dj and I wanted to get on a podcast and start a career in radio. Both times I "auditioned " I was told I need to "practice" and basicly turned away. I thought this was a school not some job interview the reason I came to this place was to be trained to become better not be turned away. Very disappointing.

I didn't like how thing we're going with my job. I had been thinking about going to CSB for at least 5 years. I finally decided to go in 2016, & I feel it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've met so many great people through the school. CSB was only the beginning on the new path I'm on, but I look forward to the journey

The Connecticut School of Broadcasting was one of the best decisions I ever made. Instead of having a job I dreaded going into every day, I am now working in radio at a full time in a job I love. Every day is something different and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting made it possible. They give you hands on experience that applies to the broadcasting world. After you graduate classes the instructors really stick with you and help you find internships and jobs until you find exactly what you are looking for. I would recommend The Connecticut School of Broadcasting for anyone who is interested in this field of work.

I attended CSB Farmington in hopes to learn more about video editing to compliment my undergraduate degree in Graphic Design. Although my interests were leaning more towards the camera operations, editing and production side of broadcasting, gaining experience in all aspects increased my abilities for all projects and jobs. Not only were we encouraged by instructors to stay after class and use the programs we were learning, I wanted to. The instructors and staff are unbelievably talented individuals who work in the actual business and bring in others in the field to gain an even bigger perspective of what it takes to break into this industry. I still get emails for side jobs from the school and use their equipment whenever in need! To this day they are always available if I have questions or need a review on how to do something. My hopes and expectations were exceeded within the first week. If you have any doubt about attending Connecticut School of Broadcasting go in and meet them first hand for a private tour. They are very accommodating and want the best for all their students.
