I had a good first visit here with a doctor, but since the pandemic I feel as if the quality of service and care has gone down. I have some pretty serious issues involving blood and other things that have been shoved to the side whenever I have come in to discuss them with my doctor, Dr. Cope. I have felt that since the pandemic he doesn’t care about those other pretty serious things and only cares about vaccinations, all of them.
Ogden Clinic is a horrible provider. Expect to wait months for appointments and hours on the phone. When you do finally get in they don't read file notes requiring you to correct not just one person but many. Their phone number takes you to a central operating system that makes it impossible to get to the correct person you need to to ask questions or correct them again. When the finally do answer the phone they transfer you to the wrong office to wait longer only to find out you need to be transferred again only to wait some more. Unless you have nothing better to do than listen to their recording on hold for hours, find a better provider. Ogden Clinic, stop buying all the local providers and turning them into this awful machine.
I’m very disappointed with that clinic and I will start going to the UofU Centerville. The Ogden clinic Bountiful doesn’t look clean, the receptionists are not use rude words not very bright and 1 min after you tell them something, they ask the same question. Also, everyone except the doctors, looks very unprofessional crazy messy hair, lots of piercings, dragging their feet when walking, even 1 receptionist was wearing a pajama pants. Last time, I visited them, the nurse who was taking the notes, after each of my sentences was saying : “Kay, kay” and chewing a gum. Noone was wearing a mask either and they don’t give you any notes from the visit with postcare instructions
If I could, I’d give this place 0 stars. I saw a doctor named Jennifer. She was hands down the worst doctor I’ve ever had. She told me she wasn’t going to refill any of my prescriptions, even after she saw my chart and saw that I was already prescribed them. She didn’t give me any options, or even discuss how I was feeling with my depression and anxiety. She even yelled at me. I’m never going back to this place again.
Stay away from this place. When my doctor of 6 years at another practice retired I saw a doctor here. First he told me I should think about decreasing my medication. Unfortunately this is a medication that most people are on for life and don’t decrease. I have never heard such absurdity in the 25 years Ive taken some some variation of this medication. He then told me to call in my refill requests. I called today to have a refill sent to the pharmacy. I was told I have to come in. I told the receptionist i was not told this by the doctor and so I was out of medication and needed to be get a refill as soon a possible. She told me the soonest appointment was in 3 weeks! I told her that was unacceptable and I could not go without my medication for 3 weeks and suddenly she found an appointment the next day. Reading all of the other reviews, I shouldn’t be surprised. This clinic does not care about patients well being or mental health.
I have never been more insulted by a medical professional in my life and I will never return to any Ogden Clinic. I went in for an extremely delicate situation regarding an early pregnancy that had potentially failed. When I told Dr Raymond Ward about the faint pregnancy line I received on one test, having later had negative tests, his response was "Well, it is possible to have hallucinated a very small, tiny line". Is that what a medical professional is trained to tell a patient that just had a miscarriage? My husband saw the 'very small, tiny line' too. Was he hallucinating as well? This is called medical gaslighting and it is NOT OKAY.
I have had good experiences with this clinic on an urgent care basis until today. My daughter who is slightly delayed went in today 5/1/22 to get rechecked because her symptoms got worse after Covid/Flu/Strep tests came back negative last Saturday. She was checking in, wearing a mask when the receptionist sitting next to the one checking her in freaked out and told her to leave the building because she was going to give everyone Covid. She then proceeded to spray down the entire room. My daughter was humiliated. She was and is negative for Covid but has Pneumonia. The doctor even asked why she was sitting outside. I worked at LDS Hospital during the height of Covid and not once did we treat a patient coming in with Covid symptoms like that. They were not made to wait outside either. They were brought in and the registrars let staff know they may have Covid, not the entire waiting room. If this receptionist has this type of reaction she should NOT be working in healthcare.
I love this place. Friendly reception. AMAZING doctors and nurses. The nurse we had today was so cute with my 2 kiddos. And there were toys in the room where we waited for the doctor. We saw dr. Bridger butters and I can’t say enough how comfortable and happy I was with the whole experience. My kids want to go back and that makes me really really happy. I highly recommend this clinic
Love my doctor, but the office staff could use some interpersonal training. Very rude on the phone and in the office...
Horrible service! They never get the request in when they say they do! My wife possibly has stage 5 kidney failure and needs a request to see a nephrologist and we still can’t see them cause they haven’t seen anything or got any request yet from them for her yet.. great job guys! Glad you can tell her she has stage 5 kidney failure and not giving us any information or how serious it is.. worst place ever!
