All the teachers are so friendly and welcoming - they always emphasize that we can modify workouts/take breaks as needed. It’s a really positive environment, and a great workout too! Plus, I always enjoy the music - especially when they have themed days Lizzo, musicals, T Swift, etc. Those are fun and motivate me to work out on days I normally wouldn’t have!
Tyler is a great instructor. She should teach more classes. Unfortunately many get canceled. Lindsey and Tyler are also good but less intense. The studio is generally clean and the classes are comfortable in terms of spacing. Weekend classes are very packed but not as bad as the georgetown location, which is entirely unacceptable. The locker area is not particularly clean there and the overcrowding of classes is poorly managed signing up for class won’t guarantee you a spot, nor will you want it once you walk in and see how jam packed it is. Dupont and city center are definitely better locations
One of my favorite CorePower locations in DC. Like that there are lots of people in the classes, and the instructors are A+. LOVE Rebeca's Sculpt class. Tons of fun and a phenomenal workout. Be sure to get there early to get the spot you want for your mat!
Great studio. I’ve really enjoyed their classes and instructors. Giving 3 stars because they’ve recently updated their schedule to no longer offer the basic class at this location except for the weekends. That doesn’t work for me. Will now have to cancel my membership.
Took Kell’e class last week and it was amazing. She’s very knowledgeable and has amazing energy . I will be back again to take her class. I’m no yoga pro at all but she helped me with the tough position and I really appreciated that.
It's a convenient location and decent sized studio and they really do work your core. I enjoy the classes and would like to continue going, just wish there were classes at 2 or 3 in the afternoon here.
Corepower is where I came to truly enjoy yoga! I love vinyasa in the heat format. I used to be a gym rat and would attend various yoga studios for my yoga time. Once I found CPY, I no longer needed my gym - Sculpt classes gets my cardio and toning! I no longer needed to go to Bikhram yoga studios - HPF does that! And of course C2s are great and very challenging . When I don't want a lot of heat I slip into a challenging C1, which is pretty much unheated. Instructors are super friendly and I've made friends with other students that I still have three years later! Love the community!
My instructor was so friendly and encouraging--her 8am sculpt was packed and it was a great workout
The instructors are friendly and welcoming, most importantly, they make sure you get the most of your practice.
