Great breakfast and prices that cannot be beat. The three of us ate very well for under $20 and that's with bottomless coffee. Much better looking on the inside.
Price is good, food was okay... Home fries barely cooked... literally white. Bacon was cooked so long it crumbled. Pancakes were flat.. maybe 1/4" thick even with blueberries in them. Literally had to yell across the room to get more coffee for the "bottomless cup" that they never filled to the top and we sat for 15 minutes after we were done eating before we finally relented and went up to ask for our check. Price is good but so not impressed with anything else.
Went here on 3/31/19, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Was not acknowledged when we walked in the door, took our own seats, took forever to get menus, and drinks from a Busboy after sitting for 10+ minutes The waitresses were running by us constantly to the register we were sitting by, so it is impossible they did not see or hear us, and yet I had to track down a waitress, ask if we can order and she begrudgingly took our orders as if it was a chore, and the only thing she said was "it's busy." We ordered very simple things, eggs, pancakes, bacon etc, basic breakfast foods that should not have taken 30+ minutes to receive. However in the time of us basically making a lady take our order and us leaving, other customers came in, were instantly greeted, given menus/drinks, and gave orders. The later party also ordered simple breakfast items, and recieved it before we did. We were in the diner for over an hour, and basically had no contact with the staff. We ended up leaving shortly after the next customers got their food before us. I fully believe this whole experience was due out of racism, as the only difference between our party and everyone else in the diner was that we were the only party with an African-American in the diner I myself am white, but my friend is black, and the waitstaff continually gave us weird looks, basically refused to acknowledge us, and yet were friendly, and happy to serve every other customer that walked in the door before, and after us. At first I did not believe this to be the case, but slowly realized that these people were racists. This was honestly a terrible experience, that was both humiliating, and frustrating to both my friend and I. After we left, we had an amazing breakfast, and friendly service at the Bagg Lunch Diner.
Hidden gem just over the Goffstown line, a diner that is truly retro, it's a throwback to the 80s, no frills, food is great and prices are retro too. Eat a nice breakfast for two at under 15 bucks with tip. Shredded hashbrowns are some of the best in the area. Parking isn't the greatest but not too bad even when busy. Lots of locals and regulars. Can be a little noisy. Give this place a try for unpretentious good breakfast grub at a great price.
Best breakfast place! Not only friendly when you walk in. Every staff greeted us! Good is fresh and made to order! Delicious!!! To bad i live far but next time we are in that town that is my breakfast place! Chef came over to our table to greet and offer more coffee! All resturaunts should learn from this place! 5
Went here with a friend on 3/31/19 for breakfast, and sat at the counter by the register. After 20 minutes of watching the waitresses run back and forth seating, taking everyone else’s orders and checking out guests, a busboy came up to us and gave us menus, silverware, and some water. After another 20 minutes, my friend got the attention of one of the waitresses and we placed our orders. The waitress barely looked at me, and said they were busy. A few minutes after we placed our order, another couple walked in and were immediately taken care of. I was annoyed at this point but I figured that it was a different section and they were busy. We waited another 20 minutes, our water cups empty and without any checkups from anyone working there. Another couple came into the place, sat in the same exact section and were seen to in seconds. My friend asked me if I wanted to go and I said to give them 10 more minutes. I then realized that the couple that came in 40 minutes after us had gotten their food. I was seeing red and instead of confronting them, I stormed out. I want to say something else. The only thing different between me and all of the other people in this establishment, is that I am black. My friend is white. While we sitting there, waiting, I asked him if I was overthinking this, and he said yes. But as we continued to wait and be ignored, he realized that I was indeed correct. I fully believe that the staff of Cote’s Diner are racist and this establishment should be avoided at all costs. I left the diner deeply humiliated and saddened by the realization that other people think of me as lesser just because I am a few shades darker. I sobbed and shook in my embarrassment and rage as my friend tried to calm me down. Not wanting to ruin our day and still hungry, we look up another place to eat. We walked a few blocks down and were warmly welcomed by the Bagg Lunch Diner where we had an amazing breakfast and amazing service. Long story short, don’t waste your time/money on racists, eat at the Bagg Lunch.
Good food breakfast, but really took awhile to get service. Great prices though. 20$ for 3 to eat. But why can't they, " all restaurants butter the whole peice of toast"?!
Ordered a bacon omelette and bacon. Got a ham omelette with peppers in it I never asked for. Another one in the party got ham on her plate when it was supposed to on another and she's a vegetarian. The staff seem like they couldnt have less of a sense of urgency as I waited 45 mins for my eggs. Also one of their regulars here is annoying as hell. All in all stay away.
Great atmosphere and prices! We've been coming here for 7 years regularly and my family loves it here. Fast and friendly service.
Price for meals is very good and flavor is above average. Device needs major improvement but there is only one waitress.
