Nice little boutique hotel well located within a short walk to Paris metro and bus. Lots of nice restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and conveniences nearby. Rooms are well appointed and the minibar is a nice touch. The annex lift is tiny 2 person so those with lots of bags and stuff might struggle on higher floors.

Lovely hotel, very well priced for the size and location. Staff were very help and friendly. Beautiful interiors in the lobby and reception. Rooms were well stocked with complimentary drinks, French teas and snacks.

The room was pretty and the staff were very friendly. I forgot some of my belongings in the room when checking out. They called me immediately, which Im very grateful for. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Terrible customer service except the two longer-hair representatives, they don’t provide what they promise on booking and keep on making changes on spot! Also very cheap and stingy with everything, and keep on blaming the guest for their mistakes! Didn’t make up my room properly, didn’t get refills as should, terrible soundproof within the hotel, very weak shower flow, homeless people and smell of pee outside the hotel. And I could go on and on about this terrible experience. Never had to work so hard to meet my requests, the manager and the short-haired rep were terrible and made my experience bad. Felt I was lied and mislead throughout, Be aware!!

Last minute booking but I'm so glad this was our selection. What an amazing and well run hotel. The owner and staff should be very proud of themselves. Lovely exterior, interior and rooms which are generous for Paris. Great to have blackout curtains, quiet air con and a peaceful street, we slept like a log. Nice modern decor throughout but still feels homely and cosy. The lady on reception was lovely, big smile, efficient and a very warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious and very well organised, local produce used which was nice to see and a good varied choice. I will absolutely book the Taylor again when back in Paris and would recommend it to anyone, fabulous place

We loved our week visit! Our room was large and had the requested tub. The location good, cafe, boulangerie, pharmacy on the corner. Staff very helpful. AMAZING free breakfast with everything anyone could want from fresh pastries to smoked salmon. P. Stroud

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the taylor hotel and would come back for our next Paris trip. Here are the pros and cons: + perfect location for exploring Paris, several Metro stations and bus stops close by, walking distance 10 minutes to gare de l‘est + we always felt very safe in the area around the hotel + opportunity to store luggage when you arrive early + nice restaurants, coffee shops and small stores just around the corner, the bakery close by is a must see! + we didn‘t have breakfast at the hotel since there are many nice restaurants in the area + very friendly staff, they always took their time to have a chat with us, they also speak English + minibar water, soda, coffee capsules, milk, tea and snacks are restocked daily and are included in the price as well as the coffee bar in the breakfast room + adequate room size for Paris + before our arrival we receaved an email asking which products we need e.g. slippers, shampoo etc., we really liked that + toilettery products have a good quality, unfortunately they come in sample sizes which produce a huge amount of waste. The hotel definitely has to come up with a more sustainable solution! + beautifully decorated rooms + heating worked well, the room was nicely warm + you can connect your phone with the television so you can watch youtube, netflix etc in your preferred language. only french tv channels ~ no adequate fan in the bathroom with no window: it was very hot and steamy after taking a shower for a long time, so we had to open the windows in the bedroom afterwards, this way it was also not possible for our towels to dry and we had to exchange them every day, the shower had several leaks so the floor was wet after taking a shower ~ the first impression of the room was positive, it seemed nice and clean - however, if you take a closer look, the bedroom and especially the bathroom need a thourough, deep cleaning and scrub: moldy shower with scale build-up, musty shower head and greasy stains on the bathroom door. The water tank of the coffee maker also was calsified/had some weird stains, you can tell they dont clean it thouroughly. There were also old coffee stains underneath the coffee machine. ~super tiny elevator ~no soap pad in the bathroom so the sink was always very soapy and slimy ~ our room was close to a school so it was rather noisy during the day ~ unfortunately the restroom in the public area of the hotel downstairs was very dirty should definitively be cleaned more often and on top of that, the seat of the toilet was broken, so quite dangerous to use ~ We were a bit disappointed because the decor of this hotel is beautiful and promising but then cleaniliness is just average. This is why I think this hotel ist just average/good but not very good/perfect :- price: double room, around 530 for 3 nights in january
