In full disclosure, this is not the first time I have tried their food. Their food trucks regularly make the rounds during the sumer in upstate NY. I was, however, pleasantly surprised to find them inside Budd Dairy Hall on a trip to Columbus. And it was just as good as the food we have ordered from them before. I am a die-hard Connecticut roll devotee. No mayo for me, thank you! We split this yummy, buttery goodness between us, and it absolutely hit the spot. If you ate craving lobster, this is the place to go.
Let me explain. I have tried a ton of lobster bisque in the city and this by far is my favorite. Add a little lemon and cut up the big piece of lobster I have been sick on and off for the past month and a half. I've spent over $200 ordering their soup on ubereats. The best part of my bed ridden day.Food: 5/5
We went to Cousins for the first time this past weekend and the food was fabulous! I got this one roll that is just so mouthwatering and the price is reasonable for this big of a roll! The service was also great, which makes the food taste even better! Definitely will be back and try more of their food. Highly recommend if you are a lobster fan!
Ahh I'm so bummed! We were so excited to finally try cousins and wanted to love it so much. I will say the portion of tots was aggressive and I liked it...but I can get tater tots anywhere. The grilled cheese lobster was so mediocre. The lobster didn't taste great, so much so that I went through the trouble of removing it from the grilled cheese. The cheese was supposed to be pepper jack and there was absolutely no flavor. My husband and I paid $50+ for an average grilled cheese and tater tots. Not only would I not return as a customer, I wouldn't' suggest it to others and I'm annoyed that I'm out $50.
Went to the food truck in Lima, Ohio. The lobster bisque was amazing! Reminded me of our trip to Wells, Maine! Fantastic lobster roll! Maine style is the best way, chilled with Mayo. The lobster quesadilla was good but a little dry and plain with just cheese and lobster. But over all very good!
Budd dairy is a cool place but every time I’ve been here I’ve gotten lobster bisque and each time there hasn’t been a single piece of lobster in it. I heard good things about the food truck before it was in budd dairy but clearly they took a nose dive after locating here. Basically just got $10 bowls of cream. The workers were also nowhere to be found so we had to walk away and get drinks, hang out and wait for someone to appear again.
The lobster tasted amazing with decent sauce, soft rolls and salad. However, it cost mostly $20 and it definitely won’t fill up your stomach.Recommended dishesConnecticut
After years of waiting, I finally tried the truck tonight. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming and disappointing. I understand it's lobster...and a great portion...but if I order a $20 lobster roll that is supposed to be served warm it should be done right, especially if there is nonody else there. It was early, so literally no line. I parked walked right to the window and ordered. My order was ready in 30 seconds, which was a red flag tbh. I sat in my car, took a pic and then started to eat. Maybe 60 sec after receiving my food. My "warm" lobster roll was refrigerated cold, butter wasn't even warm and didn't notice any lemon. I also had the lobster bisque and it was equally meh. Maybe some sherry or thyme. IDK. I typically give restaurants benefit of the doubt on 1 bad experience, but w $20 roll and $10 small soup I don't think I'll be back. Oh, well. Best of luck to them.
Was left slightly disappointed by the portion size compared to the price, especially when you factor in what you can get at the restaurants in the same food court. The lobster was great, best lobster roll you’ll get in Ohio. But when you go make sure you get 2. I also think coleslaw as a side is a little strange
I grabbed the lobster bisque because it’s a personal favorite: just don’t lbvs Pictured is the bowl portion which still only had this one small portion of lobster that wasn’t even pulled, diced or anything. The bisque itself is pretty thin and watery but the taste is decent and the lobster was good which is what’s sustaining the rating, so even though the rolls are a bit pricey I’d stick with those over any other selection.
