Couture Designer European Clothing

After he did a phenomenal job acquiring/tailoring amazing suits for my brother's wedding locally, I knew I wanted to reach out to David for assistance with my own wedding, despite living across the country from his shop. I brought a new challenge to David by asking him to select suits for me and four groomsmen based solely off of diverse measurements from a variety of tailors around the country and pictures of each individual sent via email. Despite never meeting any of us in person, David was able to complete five suits that surpassed expectations and perfectly fit each individual. Each suit arrived via mail in perfect condition, was of the highest quality, and helped make my wedding day a stand out event for me and the men beside me. His communication via email and phone met the highest qualities of customer service and made a cross-country suit order an effortless task. The quality of David's suits and his customer service led me to reach all the way across the country for a fine suit for the big day, and I would recommend the same to anyone looking to add an excellent product to their wardrobe, whatever the occasion.

Once, I got a great fitting suit on sale that I get lots of compliments on--plus I'm not an easy fit considering my wider build on top (they really worked with me here). And this isn't even my favorite interaction with Couture...I later went to pick up some tailored jackets for a family member and one jacket was not in the store for the scheduled pick-up. The owner got on the phone with his tailor to hastily (and quite sternly) correct the issue as it should have been delivered that day. The tailor, whom the owner reassured was "just a neighborhood away", came sprinting into the store with said jacket in hand about 10 min later. Yep, we all mess up sometimes but I give 5 stars b/c this showed me 1) the local craftsmanship 2) the relationship with their tailor and the thoughtfulness of care for the customer for him to run it over out of breath. Just true old fashion dedication to customer experience. They could have easily told me to come back another time. But from getting offered water each time I come in to sprinting to correct an order, these guys know how to take care of their clients.

I can say quite honestly this is the first store to ever fully satisfy my clothing needs. The quality of the fabric, design, and hand picked selection is something you could get lost in for hours if you’re not careful, (which I was not). I came into to buy a dress shirt for a night out and ended up leaving with three Eton dress shirts, (by far the greatest shirts I have ever worn), leather suspenders, a full navy suit, and a beautiful tie designed by the owner David. Working with David 1 on 1 was an absolute delight. He has a wonderful sense of style and fit and is always happy to let you pick his brain on style and menswear. I am a 6.4 tall man with a thin waist and a rather large butt. This is great for basketball but has always made it incredibly difficult when finding correct fitting men’s clothing. Off the rack the slim fitting Eton shirts fit me like a glove. I have already worn a couple of the shirts and have received several compliments. I am receiving the suit today which is finished being tailored by a David and I’m sure it will be one of the best purchases of my life. David took the time to work with my and was very non pressuring in allowing me to decide what I did and did not like. I have never felt so confident and sexy as I do in these clothes. This is the place I will be going to from now on when I’m looking to buy real men’s clothing that fits the way it should. Thank you David!

Without a doubt, the finest european clothing, tailoring, and designing in the bay area. I brought David fabric I had purchased for my senior ball and he hand crafted me the most elequant tuxedo imaginable. People couldn’t stop staring and countless strangers were complimenting the fit and look David had created. I 100% reccomend couture sf to anyone looking to leave a lasting impression with their attire. A truly one of a kind experience no other store can recreate.

Amazing quality and friendly staff. I always have fun shopping there. Careful, you might get addicted to the MAC jeans they sell, they are the most comfortable pants I ever owned :)
