The soup.... So good!!! My favorites are Bean and Ham, Knoephla, Split Pea. This is how grandma makes soup! Angie’s Sloppy Joe’s, potato salad, and desserts are simply the best. Cracked Pepper is Fargo’s best kept secret for homemade lunch.

Went here based on reviews at TripAdvisor. It is very dark inside and very unusual odor in the place. Service was also confusing with menu posted outside and server who spoke to me was just short of rude. I left without trying the food.

Home-made and delicious. All of the desserts are amazing. Ordered an apple pie, and it was one of the best I've ever had.

My mom and I love this place for lunch. They have a different menu every day and their soup is always my go-to. Also, you get dessert with the combos, which is my favorite part! We've had cherry cobbler, apple crisp... Homemade desserts! It's hard to find places like this that make you feel at home while also going out to eat.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. My chicken/bacon wrap was juicy and delicious! We also sampled the hummus panini and couscous salad- both were outstanding! They served us a small piece of banana cake with a luscious frosting which was the perfect touch of flavor and sweetness for dessert! Great lunch spot!

My wrap was nothing exciting. My bf's ham and cheese sliders looked good though.

Been here many times. The food is really hit or miss. Even my fiance's parents said it was awful last time which they used to love it as well. I believe many of the ingredients are different now and a lot of items are not as homemade as they once were. It's too bad the place used to be good 2+ years ago.

Great hidden lunch spot in South Fargo. They’re open from 10-2 weekdays only. Sit and eat in the cafe, grab your food to go, or sit out on the patio in the summer. Great selection of soups, sandwiches, and wraps that change weekly. Check em out for your next lunch meeting!

10/10 meal was fire. Healthy meals good service with DIET DR PEPPER
