They have a great breakfast buffet. I think the eggs may have been real. On the weekend they had a omelet station, salmon, baked chicken legs, green beans. Yes this is breakfast. They also had gravy, waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes, French toast, yogurt, coffee, apple/orange juice. The egg guy seemed cool. Waitstaff seemed nice
The Ambience was fine but the food and service were not up to the mark. We got Poblano Zucchini soup and Wings dipped in Chili mango sauce. The soup was okay but we couldn’t taste the mango in the chicken wings. It was like the fried chicken was dipped into a Sweet and Salt sauce.
The chicken and waffles were so delicious! The chicken was quite moist and flavorful. This is a good place especially if you have status with Marriott.
Our first brunch since before the pandemic started. I counted all of four serving staff with an unknown amount of cooks to take care of the entire restaurant. Yes, they were strapped, but they definitely earned our repeat business. Everything was exceptional, and the food was brilliant as well. Probably the best classic eggs benedict I've ever had. The cleanliness was uncompromised, the service was outstanding, the Ambiance was refreshingly inviting, and the food was layered in flavors.
The chorizo penne is absolutely divine! We’ve enjoyed Sunday morning brunch a few times also & that’s usually a hit also.
Extremely disappointed. We went down and looked at a menu posted on the wall and figured we would give it a shot. The host sat us down with no menus and said that we could help ourselves to the brunch buffet. At this point we figured everything on the menu would be in the buffet, but that wasn’t the case. After getting food from the buffet the host brought a bill to our table. They charged us $23 per adult for a buffet breakfast that tasted like any other hotel breakfast. The biscuits were dry and the gravy wasn’t warm at all. Would not recommend waisting your money here.
Very overpriced for what you get. My drink was not made correctly overly sweet and didn't have the ingredients listed and when I asked for something else they took my drink but never brought me the replacement i ordered. Food had clearly been sitting in the warmer for a very long time as the plates were burning hot to the touch and the fries were dried out. Entrees we're flavorless and lacking ingenuity and presentation for such an expensive price. Service was okay, bartender was very nice but we were served in the dining room and forgotten multiple times a "so sorry for the wait was given". In fairness they seemed quite busy but no real attempts at decent service were made for us. We had to go up to the bar to pay for our bill because no one would take the check in the dining room. I'd say go there for music but eat somewhere else. Food is not worth it.
Convenient if your staying in the hotel, decent enough to not have to leave in the cold. Bartenders were nice enough, but made multiple mistakes without fixing them. I ordered chicken pesto sandwich, waiter rang chorizo pasta. I don't like to make a fuss, so I told them if it wasn't spicy, I'd eat it. But I ordered the chicken pesto partly because it seemed the only reasonably priced thing on the menu. Now I'm stuck with a $22 pasta when I wanted a $14 sandwich. Pasta is okay, but not worth $22. On top of that, they charged me for 3 beers when I only had 2. I babysat my beer for over 40 mins a piece wait time for food was long but they were flipping between bar backs so there was probably an innocent miscommunication. So all in all, I'm over $13 then what I ordered. And their way to take care of me? A 10% off my ticket discount. Which took off $3.18. Just terrible day one customer service.
We had a hockey tournament all weekend and I was happy their restaurant and bar was so easily accommodating. They have food and drinks at the tiki bar in the pool also. I really enjoyed Urban 42. I really like the walleye tacos they had an awesome panko crust. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was so comforting but the dish was very well put together.....super fancy and also the tomato soup was more like a light marinara but dipping the grilled cheese in the soup was such a perfect pair of flavors. The Sangria was huge you are getting your money worth. The highlight of the drinks was the old fashioned, the bartenders take their time on this drink and it's so delicious especially the cherries. I enjoyed my time, not only is the food good but the bartenders are super nice and even though they were overworked they were always moving. I would recommend a waitress to help out in the bar area especially during such a busy weekend filled with teams from Colorado, Roseville, MN and Las Vegas and so many other people. They also had a band on Thursday evening and it was awesome to see all the couples get up and dance. The bacon Mac and cheese was very filling and nice and smokey. The soup was disappointing the chicken wild rice soup wasn't thick and lacked flavor. The Asian wings were crispy and the glaze was perfect, it came with a slaw salad and the dressing mixed perfectly with the wings.
This review is for the Thanksgiving Brunch and NOT the restaurant, which I have not been to. The level of food that was offered was absolutely embarassing. It was $250 for our group of 7 and while I didnt expected to be blown away, I never would have guessed how bad this experience would be. Imagine if a jail or a low budget hospital had a thanksgiving brunch. Everything was overcooked. The cornbread stuffing was inedible and hard as a rock. The deviled eggs, fruit and rolls look like their were stored uncovered in dry storage. Also inedible due to parts that had dehydrated in the air. The ham was overcooked and the only thing that made it edible was that they had it literally covered in brown sugar water. The turkey was only slightly better. The mashed potatos were the most overcooked ive ever seen in my life. They actually changed color. It was a brown, burnt gluey mess. The greenbean casserole was watery. Every single dessert was premade out of a box and by far the area where most of their cost was focused. This was maybe the most disappointing dining experience I have had in Fargo. The only good thing was the layout. They had it in their ballroom so there was no crowding. The servers all had mismatched uniform, some in just street clothes and didnt really seem to know what was going on. 0/10 turkey legs
