It was delicious. The sauces were fantastic. I don’t usually ever eat clams or mussels and they were superb here. The sauces really made everything amazing. The crab was some of the best I’ve had! Definitely pricey but worth it.Recommended dishesWhite, Corn on the Cob, Red, Black, Clams
I got to Crackin’ Kitchen pretty early for brunch and there were only two other tables filled. Being on the 3rd floor and a relatively new location it took some searching to find, but was well worth it. I decided to try it out and was happy to find that the food was rich and tasty. My friendly server, Alex, explained that the breakfast/brunch was relatively new as well as the location, and that the main draw was at night for the Cajun boils and the full service bar. The menu had plenty of great choices so I opted for the CK Moco and added the garlic fried rice. It was so good! The portion was generous, and the meal was delivered very quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back for dinner and recommend Crackin’ Kitchen to all.
We decided to try this place instead of going back to Karai, and we wish we would have gone to Karai. The waiter was helpful and answered all of our questions. We chose to get two orders of the Signature Combos with the red and white sauces. We substituted the Spam for Portuguese sausage. The red sauce was too salty, and it just wasn't spectacular like the Boiling Crab's The While Sha-bang sauce. The corn on the cob pieces were skinny, like two rows of corn. They at least have a cool and catchy name, but they need to do better with their sauces.
was super excited to have seafood boil since i havent had it for a while. But I was really disappointed because the crab and shrimps were not fresh at all.
Just got back to the hotel from eating here. It was awesome!!! Ordered signature chowder fries with the fried egg for appetizer. Haven't tried egg on fries before but it was delicious! For the main, we had the Snow Crab Combo with garlic fried rice added. I had mine with the 3xxx spicy red signature sauce and my partner had the mild spice red sauce. There was a TON to eat. We maybe spent 2 hours sitting there chomping away for the $90 in total feast. On top of that our waiter was a very nice and funny guy that was on top of the water refills and service. Would recommend to anyone.
Worst seafood boil I've ever had. We are right next to the ocean and the food was not fresh. The manager only admitted to the snowcrab not being fresh. However, none of it tasted fresh. The $71 lobster was rubbery and chewy. We had ordered The Super Ultimate Combo for 3/4 people. First of all the website has it listed for $298 and in the restaurant it was $320. It advertises that it comes with all 3 sauce sides. We thought, great. Something to please everyone. When it came, we had 3 sides of sauces, plus the seafood was submerged in all 3. It was horrible. It didn't look appetizing or taste appetizing. Lastly, our waiter Hector took our order and after bringing our food, never came back to ask how it was or refill our drinks. I had to flag him down to ask about the freshness of the food. As soon as I started to ask he said, let me get my manager. To put into perspective, we are from WI and our seafood all comes frozen. We eat seafood regularly, especially when on vacation next to the ocean. Never ever, have we had such horrible quality food. And for $400, we expect better.
Kauai shrimp and fish n’ chips were delicious. Fast friendly service made the experience enjoyable.
Crackin Kitchen was very good for a seafood boil. The shellfish was clean, fresh, and tasty. The drinks were made well. Mozzarella sticks are awesome. The service was nice. However, we were unaware they closed early and we were a little rushed. But the server was friendly, and the outdoor covid dining situation was socially distanced. I will be back.
We originally came 3 years ago when they were on one of the side streets it was amazing such a vibe and great food. So on this trip we wanted to come again WHAT A MISTAKE I’m not sure what happened with the location change but what a bummer we got the lobster apparently it was still alive when we ordered it, well if it was they certainly cooked the life out of it!! Very chewy and rubbery the claws had 0 meat in them. It was extremely disappointing. The mussels and clams were very tinny. We also swapped spam for sausage at an extra cost and that wasn’t done. The sauces were average at best. Was extremely disappointing!
GOOD gumbo here. I didn't expect to find good Cajun food, but the gumbo was perfect. Loco Moco was also very good. Parking: Large parking garage next to the mall.
