Unfortunately this place is still closed! We visited pre-covid and the food was amazing.Food: 5/5
This busy Japanese food hall is very convenient and serves great food! All of the dishes are super flavorsome and taste delicious. One of the places here you HAVE TO go to is the place near the desert shop. It sells little rice balls that have different fillings in them see picture. The other restaurants basically sell the same thing as the other two pictures. The dessert shop I mentioned earlier has creative looking shaved ice that you should try. It is really tall and melts quickly but the taste is luscious. In conclusion, visit this place for good high quality food. Also, it is right underneath a shopping mall! The whole area is a shopping plaza too.
Its hard to imagine or explain the feeling you get when all your favorite Japanese foods get together under one roof. I went to this place and couldn't comprehend what was happening. From great sushi to ramon to any other type of Japanese food you have a choice to pick. One of the most unique food experiences you get in Honolulu and everyone should go visit it.
Neat food court. Has a nice variety of Japanese cuisines to select from. Has a decent selection of ramen choices as well. Atmosphere is really nice. Can physically see what the food will look like with models. Menu choices also have pictures accompanying them. Menu is also in English.
Great charming Japanes food court on Waikiki strip. Green tea parfaits, ramen, tempura and much more. Decent prices. Lots of selection. We went there 2 times in one week.
Barrios: Tasty broth. I ate it all Update: I still dont know the name of it but it's the tempera place with only 3 tempera bowls. We ate here numerous times and each time it's still super tasty and flavorful
Great Japanese food hall located underground. There is a wide variety of food - from ramen to donburi, to hotpot to BBQ and Japanese desserts. Any Japanese eats can basically be found here. Do be weary though that certain restaurants will charge a service fee already, regardless if the size of your party. Read the signs and menus carefully. Amidst all of the restaurants is a small section of vintage mini arcade games. Very cute and nostalgic.
Best new Japanese Cuisine in Waikiki with $3 dollar drinks all day everyday. Wonderful selection of different Japanese Izakaya's, restaurants, small cozy bars, and a modern appeal. This is definitely my newest favorite place in Waikiki. Its convenient for me as I live in Waikiki so I can walk here. I came for dinner and stayed until closing I had such a great experience. I initially came with my boss and had dinner and a couple drinks all at $3 bucks each. I enjoy the grapefruit chuhai and lemon chuhai. If your a Japanese foodie this is the place to be. So many choices and selections. Note that not all of the restaurants here are $3 bucks per item, just at the center bar/yakitori/food area. So if your looking for an impressive first date they have moderately priced restaurants with the bomb food selection, definitely worth the price. I had Japanese steaks cooked on a lava plate on my modern circular table.
If you are in Waikiki area and you are a fan of Japanese food, this is the place for Ya!!!! I was so impressed with this Japanese food alley. Not only it has so many Japanese food selection, they are really tasty as well. Another amazing thing happened when we were there is the food eating contest! It was just really fun ! Highly recommend
When we checked into our hotel Aston Beach Waikiki they gave a pamphlet that had coupons for here. We decided to try it. We LOVED it!!! For the most part we ate there 3 out of our 6 days in Honolulu. So good! Nin Nin was AWESOME!!!! We ate there 2 times and loved it and the service was outstanding! We also ate at Umami Teppan Kingyo they had great food but the server was cold and not friendly at all. Also be aware some places in here no matter the group size there was only 2 of us add on 15 percent on your bill, and if you aren't paying attention and tip on top kinda sucks.
