Let me just start by saying do not rent from this property. Please be warned they only care about your money and will disrespect you until they take everything and you’re left with nothing. They evicted me and when I tried to contact management they hung up on me and when I went into the office to speak to someone they called the cops and said they felt threatened without giving me the decency of communication. Keep in mind I’m a woman about 5’6 113 pounds and African American. So you can understand the prejudice and lack of respect they showed me. This is the manager Jordan. Please do not rent from this place. Horrible horrible and keep in mind they evicted me the the very first time I was late on my rent. The very first time!!! There’s a special place in hell for them and I pray that you guys avoid them before they ruin your future!
I wish I could give this place a negative score. Horribly rude property manager. No storage in kitchen or bathroom. Bedroom has no window. Freezing cold in apartment, hallway and elevator and opposite in the summer. So not, I repeat DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! I was at 220 West. I mean after almost 2 years shouldn’t they just replace the carpet abs paint the place instead of charging for both. Unbelievable. Then to be so utterly rude on the phone to me. I had to tell the property manager not to contact me by phone anymore because of her rudeness. Ordinary wear and tear off an apartment over almost 2 years all charged to me. Worst place I’ve ever lived and worst management. PASS
Take pictures before even moving a single item in the unit. Document everything you can that you see wrong with the unit. Upon move out I pulled my stove and fridge out to clean under them and the stove had cats toys no, I don’t own a cat and under the fridge there were hair balls from a cat. When I mentioned this to her she said “this should have been addressed upon move in” I wasn’t aware of these things until move out I guess I didn’t know I needed to pull out appliances to check if it was properly cleaned in the first place. Just take a bunch of pictures upon move in. I’ve never had any problems getting ahold of someone in the office, and all issues that I had when I lived there were addresses promptly. Make sure you cancel Xcel energy upon move out. If you don’t, they won’t tell/remind you. They will let it stay in your name until a new tenant moves into the apartment. I haven’t lived there for the past 6 months and was only made aware of the energy bill because someone new finally moved in. I was charged $400 for the time I didn’t even live there.
Disgusting company with predatory practices. Craig Properties does not engage in helpful practices whatsoever, and they are apart of the “landlord horror stories” you hear of every so often. Terrible services and no help from management during my time spent as a tenant. I would give zero stars if possible. NEVER RENT FROM CRAIG PROPERTIES.
I would give them a zero if I could ! I rented from the Billmeyer which has brick walls in the apartments. My electric bill for my extremely tiny and overpriced unit was $170 each month because the heat had to be turned up all the way to make it livable in there. The pipes would burst in the basement because they didn’t want to put money towards fixing the plumbing in the building making the plumbing in my bathroom completely messed up which they are now trying to charge me for. Would not recommend renting from here unless you want them to pin 10,000 made up things on you at your checkout
I have lived in the Alexandra Marie for over a year and love it. The building is quiet and comfortable, and in a great location. Laundry facilities are clean. The machines work well, and have been available every time I've wanted to use them. And while it would be nice if they were less expensive, they are priced for the market we live in. The parking garage is fantastic. I drive a truck and have zero problems with those pesky concrete pillars that hold the building up. My highest electric bill has been $58 which speaks to quality construction methods. The A/C is finicky but once I figured out how to use the remote it works perfectly and keeps the entire 2BR apartment cool. I have had 2 maintenance issues. In both cases someone was out within 24 hours I submitted one ticket on their website. Both issues were fixed on the first visit. Craig Properties is highly recommended for responsible adults.
Exceptional Property Manager. Stayed at a beautiful Condo in downtown Fargo. It was clean and well furnished. The host staff was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!
Craig properties has been very rude to me and discrimination towards me cause I'm African American.. I had two garages n one was really destroyed n had nails in boards to pop my tires she blame me saying i didn't check the space and i did i called her ..so they didn't check there property for leasing it out. so I reported it n they didn't want to get me a different one just she said immediately ill refund you and had no consideration I had moved my vehicles n I checked that garage and I still need it she also said I old. Lean it out wow it was a big job someone build crates in There..problem was she was talking crazy to Me n saying who am I going to call she owns the place and disregarding my emails and complaints and just went back and forth with me in a very bad manner very unprofessional and as of today 2weeks I haven't received my refund that I paid them the same day and she wonna send me a check or two. I'm very disappointed how we treat eachotha these days when we're all we have as ppl.. she made it clear by telling me no one will hear me because she'll see it all first very sad and I'm emailing her no no response.
My wife and I lived in the Alexandra Marie. We moved to this apartment from Washington D.C. Since this was a long distance move, it required a lot of communication with the Craig Properties Staff. They were very attentive, responsive and accommodating. The building was beautiful, our neighbors were respectful and the indoor parking was a major selling point. I have only positive views towards my stay. It is exciting to see the quality buildings that Craig Properties is bringing to Downtown Fargo, and I see their company as a major factor for the quality growth and development that downtown has to offer.
