Asian spot in downtown Boston that's known for its fried chicken. It was near my hotel and my daughter eats here often so I had to try it. The fried chicken is as good as advertised and the Asian cuisine is also very good. This was my first time having Buffalo drumsticks but I don't want it to be my last.Food: 5/5
Went here for dinner yesterday night and the food was so good. Last call for food is 30mins before closing so we arrived just in time. We waited about 15-20mins for our food. We ordered appetizers but everything came out at once. There aren't any complaints about the food. Everything was good. We ordered the Medium size18 wings half furious /half bbq I requested all flats, the Spicy Pork with rice, the GyozaPan Fried, and the fried shrimp which came out in balls. It was all so good and the wings are so crispy and also juicy, it was perfect. I also ordered an Alcoholic drink, Juicy Pear Martini. It was fruity and so good. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The total for our food and the drink came to be about $84.
We went to Crave on Sunday around 5 pm. It was not busy as we were early before the standard dinner time. We ordered 3 dishes; Korean fried chicken, spicy pork bulgogi, and topkoki. On drinks, we ordered hot sake. It was enough for two people. The food was good, and the portions were generous. We didn't even touch the spicy pork bulgogi as we were full, so we had to bring it home! I would definitely revisit this place and explore more of its menu! Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend it!
The Korean fried chicken has always been the draw. Do not miss out on the rest of the well executed menu. The hotate hokkaiyaki crab and scallop dish is a show stopper. Some of the best Kimchi pancakes that I have had north of NYC. I still love the spicy crunchy Korean Fried chicken. Solid service. Go early for best experience.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Get the hotate hokkaiyaki! Get the hotate hokkaiyaki! Get the hotate hokkaiyaki! It’s sooooo good!!! You won’t regret it! I also got the angry spicy garlic boneless fried chicken, and it was mehhh. Nothing outstanding. It probably would taste better as wings or drumsticks. Don’t get boneless like I did. Also ordered the rabokki, and it was hugeeee! Very good too! I recommend getting that and splitting it with at least two people because the portion was a lot
Love their apps! Salmon dumplings are amazing. Stuffed jalapeños is good. Wings are pretty good too, I like the extra spicy garlic flavor.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: No
I used to love this place, but not sure what happened. Got take out lunch recently as I was craving Japchae. Looking forward to it even as the last time I had it here it was excellent! I ordered the Japchae with veggies thinking it would just be plain Japchae. But nope, it came with just noodles and mediocre veggies that are not very reminiscent of the veggies that go into a Japchae. Where were the mushrooms, spinach, x carrots etc? While still hot when I arrived back at my office, the flavors didn’t help. It was bland. Not as I have had it there before. I also ordered a lunch sushi special. I chose spicy tuna and spicy salmon. The menu description says it comes with salad and soup. Doesn’t indicate whether it’s only for eat in. If there is a next time I will make sure to check my bag. There was no salad and no soup. Additionally, the fish did not look nor taste fresh. Also the was hardly remnants of “spicy” in either of the sushi. Might want to ask for extra spicy Mayo next time. I did appreciate that the fish were chunks rather than chopped/ground like most places. Gave this 2 stars because the food was prepared on time and because the food was hot even after my 10 minute walk back to work in 30degree weather.
The chicken was good, I went with boneless because of an quick lunch. Recommend ordering ahead of time to cut down on wait times.
Real score 4.8 These wings were so good! Wish they had a dry rub! I got spicy garlic, they were on point! Salt and pepper squid was good as well...
This is my go to place when I crave for korean fried chicken in Boston. It has crispy skin and juicy meat, plus tasty sauce. I ordered medium fried chicken with Angry medium spicy garlic and spicy bbq sauce. Satisfying!
