I lived at Creekside for 3 years and enjoyed my time there - I only moved due to life changes! The property is close to everything - very convenient! Maintenance was always prompt if I needed assistance although I didn't have many issues while I was there and the leasing office answered any questions that I had. No surprises! I leased a one bedroom with upgraded finishes right off of the parking lot and it was a perfect size and fit for me / met all of my needs. Thank you Creekside team!
Leadership starts at the top..Creekside Apartments offers the most professional manager, leasing office staff and maintenance team. I definitely feel I made the right decision with all the options in rental community's to choose from. Location is great, and most importantly, I feel safe and at home here.
Recently moved here around 2 months ago, and absolutely love the community! The renovations are done beautifully! Kathryn toured us and worked with us, walked us through everything with the upmost kindness and respect. The community itself, it is very quiet, and everyone is very nice. In terms of price, it is fair. As someone who was paying another complex for the same price with not as much quality , this unit is priced fairly for amenities, community, area, and overall quality of the unit!
The leasing agent was very friendly and answered all my questions. Apartments were reasonably priced and the interiors looked great, but I found the exteriors and common areas a bit lacking. A lot of the stairwells and patios had rotted wood. If I were to live somewhere with a patio, I’d just prefer that the outdoor areas be in better condition than they were at Creekside.
I lived here for two years. The first year was ok even though they raised the rent. The leasing agent we had was nice and always helpful. We then got another lady who was rude, didn’t return calls after several days, and was rarely in her office. The rent this place charges is ridiculous! The apartments are old and not worth the money. Please, do your research. You’ll find much better places in Denver for your money. Also, be prepared for them to take a big chunk of your deposit for “deep cleaning”. Besides the rent there is also a bunch of other fees they charge. You are pretty much paying them to run their business…they’ll raise rent and parking every year…you’ve been warned!
AVOID this apartment complex. Worst leasing office and living experience I’ve ever had. I had a lot of issues through the years. And now after moving out, I am being charged more than my security deposit for various charges. Also, after going into the office multiple times about my move out date, and confirming a move out date was 60 days out, I am being charged $100 for a notice fee?! I went into the leasing office multiple times to have this confirmed. I wanted to move out 7/31, however that wasn’t within 60 days. So I agreed to a date THEY gave to me, which was as they stated, 60 days. Because I had to stay 5 extra days in August, I was charged around $400 in rent, which I paid in full. Then after this, THEY tell me I didn’t give a full 60 day notice and charged me $100 notice fee? So now I’m paying the extra rent I didn’t want to pay, and a fee for not having a 60 day notice on a date THEY approved. The date was approved by Beth and Kathryn. Not to mention I’m not getting ANY of my deposit back from a pretty clean apartment. Everything they are charging me for is normal wear and tear according to Colorado law. I owe them $140 still after keeping all of my deposit. I called to get this charge removed and am being refused. I have received my security deposit back in full from every apartment I’ve ever lived in before living at Creekside. I wish I lived somewhere else during my time in Denver.
MONEY GRAB APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!! Extra charges that aren’t correct, difficulty getting a hold of the new leasing managers where I’ve had to go down several times to have things straighten out when my several emails have failed a response, increased my rent twice now when the apartment is outdated and nothing has been shown as to why it’s worth staying here when their “cheap price” is no longer acceptable for what the apartment offers. Asked for my vents to be cleaned out since I see how dirty and dusty with how OLD the building is, and I’ve been denied several times. It would be great to stay cool/warm in my overpriced apartment., and be able to breathe properly too. Only thing I haven’t seen with this place is cockroaches, and I probably just jinxed myself. Air communities owns this place now, and while there are growing pains the only pain I see is from the tenants wallets. Look elsewhere. I will be gone when my lease is up. Grateful I didn’t sign a 2 year lease. EDIT: oh, and they just dropped to a one star. The laundry room is constantly under repairs, broken washer, broken dryers, leaking washers, clearly dirty, old, out of date laundry room. Original price for a load was 1.50. Increased it to $2.00 WITH NO ACCOMMODATIONS WHATSOEVER. Oh, they’re all working? RIGHT NOW THEY ARE. Give it a week MONEY GRAB MONEY GRAB MONEY GRAB
BEWARE! Strap in ladies and gents this is a bumpy review. I lived here for a total of 6 years, I moved out after two and liked it so much I moved back. The last year this place changed drastically! They will nickel and dime you for everything you have. They put in parking meters for guest parking- who does that?! They also have stuff on your rent that says “other”, doesn’t even say what you’re being charged for. Expect to not get anything back on your deposit, they require a “professional cleaning” before you move out and a receipt if you don’t use theirs. My apartment had holes in the ceiling for 5 months from the people above me flooding my apartment. But they charged me for “damaged walls” that needed paint which was normal ware and tare for living there for 4 years, my couch had rested against the wall and that was the damage. They will put letters on your doors of them having to get into your apartment next day with no warning and it’s expected that you have your animal cages or out of the apartment for the time allotted- which is generally 8-10 hours. I’m sorry but I’m not creating my dog for 10 hours, plus half the time they never even showed up and they change it to different day. Please save yourself and don’t move here, it’s not worth the emotional distress and also probably save you money in the long run- if you do move in expect to pay an additional $200 per month due to all of the fees they add on. I don’t understand how this place is able to run the way it is, definitely seems criminal the way they spring things on you and the ridiculous charges. This place is awful- don’t move here.
This place was a nice find back in 2022, but sadly has continued to change, and not for the better ever since new management started. If you are looking for an apartment, a few things to note, that is not listed publicly: $50/y charge to have packages delivered to the complex. $40/m for basic internet no option to use your own provider, $20/m parking fee, paid parking for visitors, and $100+/m for communal utilities on top of your own unit’s charge. 25% rent increase going month-to-month. And a safety note: My car and mailbox were also broken into…plus they take a long time to fix items.
Had some electrical issues in my apartment, starting when the temperature hit 100°+. Thankfully, Jacob stuck with it, even came out a couple of times in the evening, and was able to determine the issue and help to get it solved! A combination of skill and determination made all the difference. Thanks, Jacob!
