This place is one of my top favorites and I realized I had never left a review. I always get a large cappuccino, salami croissant with melted cheese and both sauces and croissants to go. The staff is always friendly and great baristas as well. When you order at the counter, you can’t miss seeing all the fresh desserts they make. I’ve tried a couple and I’ve loved each one. I drive from Spring to go there now, speaks for itself how good this place is.
I have been meaning to come here for a while and I was left very pleased with my experience. The deli sandwich on baguette was good, simple nice tasting sandwich and the bread was crusty with a good flavor. The croissant was light, not too buttery, sturdy, not too sweet, a little crusty. Overall a good croissant maybe one of the best in Houston. Space inside is pretty relaxed and the people are nice.
My SO and I have been here probably 25+ times by now, and we always enjoy our visits! The food options include freshly-made hot and cold sandwiches, quiches, soups, and salads. They also have various coffees and beautiful cakes+pastries. Also -- fresh bread! Everything is delicious. It occasionally gets a bit crowded, but we've somehow always been able to find a seat. There's dedicated non-metered parking out front as well.
I was in and out we aren’t going going to count the few minutes I needed to choose. The staff was super friendly and answered my questions. Italian cream cake and cheese cake are wonderful. The tart is good but if I go back I think I would try something else. Update: Now no longer eating in my car and in the comforts of my own home I can say the Italian cream is heavenly and I could not recommend it enough!
I love their chocolate croissants and mocha! I tried the Neapolitan which was a little too hard or crunchy. The croquet monsieur was okay as well as the veggie sandwich. Both of which could have been better. Nonetheless great location, does get busy quite often!
I had a lovely experience here. They are very popular, so it may be crowded or have a wait. Their coffee and good are worth the wait in line, however. I didn't get a photo of those, but believe me they are worth it. Atmosphere is very French country and it makes for a nice place to sit, talk, and drink.
Could be the best chicken salad croissant in America. Quiet eatery with European seating. The college? staff did not hesitate to shush a customer who was starting to play loud music. Loved that. Beautiful desserts. Need to keep this place in mind for lunch meetings and whole cakes. Vietnamese owned. A well established business in the Houston community.
I stopped by Croissant-Brioche because a friend recommended it to me. Today was my first experience with them, so maybe I'll have a better experience in the future. However, my current verdict of this cafe-bakery is that it is certainly underwhelming and unfortunately, I wouldn't come back here on my own. To start with, for a place literally called "Croissant-Brioche", the croissants are incredibly mediocre. I got the chocolate croissant and a palmier. The chocolate croissant was just sad. Not flaky, not buttery, and almost tasted like a grocery store pastry. While tasty, the palmier tasted a day old and borderline stale. My sister and I also ordered an iced soy vanilla latte and a chai tea latte. Both were also a bit disappointing. The chai tea latte was too spiced and a bit too sweet, while the vanilla latte was watered down and the espresso itself was not tasty and lacked depth. Overall, while Croissant-Brioche wasn't horrible, I feel like I'd be better off getting coffee and pastries from another local cafe rather than struggling in traffic and parking to pick up some mediocre goods.
I was absolutely pleased with my experience at Croissant-Brioche. The food was impressive both visually and in taste. The coffee is good too; I was a big fan of the mocha. Great spot for a small or quick breakfast. I really recommend the quiche, the BLT, the Tiramisu, and the other tarts... really everything I had was great. Can't wait to return.
I'm not a pastry person, but these pastries freakin SLAPPED. The apple something was so freaking good. We got the last 2 with an apricot something. The inside was super cute and the service was quick! Unfortunately, we came later in the day so there weren't many pasties to choose from! But this place is a must try!! The inside was cute too!
