The first day here was a bit rocky. The elevator wouldn't go to the lobby we had to walk from the 2nd floor down. Not a big deal for me, but a serious issue for handicapped individuals. We also didn't have hot water until the next day. They did fix it promptly though and it was scalding hot so that's great! I'm mostly reviewing because Matt at the front desk was exceptional. He accommodated all of our needs no questions asked with a great attitude. Matt is a valuable asset to your company. Otherwise, nice rooms and great Air Conditioning to keep you comfortable and avoid the muggy summer air. Thanks!
I recently stayed here for 3 nights while in town handling business and celebrating my birthday with family. I do not recommend booking at this hotel, unless you have no other choice. The service is terrible: from the shortage of staff to the attitudes of the staff members they do have. One morning, I had to call them 5 times, over a 2hr timeframe, before someone finally answered the phone. When I mentioned this, 2 separate front desk workers dismissed the issue… I was first placed in room 349 that has a “drainage issue.” Whenever you turn the shower on, the tub quickly fills up with water. I don’t particularly enjoy standing in dirty water while I’m trying to get clean, so I made a maintenance request. The problem wasn’t addressed. They then moved me to room 345 on my second night. The drainage problem was even worse. They sent maintenance again. Again, the problem wasn’t fixed. Most pressing is the fact that on my last night staying here, I found bed bugs in room 345. I am completely devastated. I’ve never in my life seen a bed bug in person and now I have to make sure A Bug’s Life doesn’t try to hitch a ride, in search of a good home. Upon reporting the issue to the front desk, the rep wasn’t at all phased and didn’t so much as offer an apology for the traumatic experience. I even had to discard belongs, including a my first quilt I was crocheting for not wanting to transport Crown Plaza’s insect colony out of their property. At 4am, I was moved to a third room #446. After two separate sets of key cards failed to open the door, I was moved to room 442. There is a drainage issue in room 442 as well. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I would sooner sleep in my car before I’d ever consider coming back to this hotel.
Look - I get it. You get what you pay for. I got a good deal online, and my time in the actual hotel was only for my daughters and I to get in and get out. We had a full weekend planned and this was centrally located for all of our events at a decent price. But the elevators were broken... We had to walk down a few times and walk up. The inside of the room had a ceiling falling apart in several spaces and just seemed really dirty. I've attached a few pictures. Rooms: See pictures.
-0/10 recommend do not come here. I booked online where I usually book at and my bank account showed me where they took there money for the room. I called and asked the Arabic man if he seen my booking online, asked for my last name and said “yes I see you booked you can come pick your key up” I went up there a guy named John with a suit was in front and he said my card declined which was a lie because it showed where my money was taken out. I asked John if I could switch floors due to me and my family’s was feeling unsafe on the first floor and the middle court yard door was broken and didn’t close. I told John about it and he said “can’t nobody get it” which I still felt uncomfortable and I told him can I switch floors and he told me that “it was all booked” and I went back up there and I talked to an Arabic man and he switched me floors with no hesitation. Than the next day check out time is at 11am and the house keeping opened my door at 9am lucky the chain was on the door but he was next to her while she opened the door which was really weird and awkward. The guy John made me very uncomfortable. I asked for the supervisor number and the young lady in the front said she was on break and that I would have to call back next week because she doesn’t that a number I could get in touch with her on. I called back again to see if I can talk to someone else other than her and the girl screen called my phone calls because I called off another number and she answered. -0/10
Room had some issues, ceiling falling apart. Was a really large booking for a party that went on until after midnight while there the 2nd day. Breakfast buffet was ok, some of the food was barely warm. There wasn't any juice or water to speak of to drink. Milk on ice but had to ask repetitively for more water or juice. Right when we arrived and got settled, someone pulled a fire alarm or something so we had to leave our room right away and go to the lobby until the fire department arrived. I got dinner there and the charges seemed to be double billed but it finally came off a couple days later. After they had already removed the initial charge to add the dinner to it and resubmitted it to my back account. Wasn't until a day after this that the other charge for dinner was removed. I called to make sure I wasn't double charged and didn't receive any info on it. Just that it wasn't the case on their end.
Well me and my girls stayed there for one night and when we checked out my daughter had left her swimsuit hanging on the back of the bathroom door.I immediately started calling and every time the lady at the front desk will tell me she can’t understand me and then she would hang up on me.then my daughter went up there and they told her the housekeeping manager was on vacation til whenever which doesn’t sound right. The next day I went there myself because I had called and left a message on the voicemail and I never received a call back. The same lady at the front desk had the nerve to tell me that no one found the swimsuit when the room was cleaned which I find that hard to believe considering my daughter had just wore it to swim in their pool and never left the room til checkout. So I’m confused on how a $70 swimsuit just mysteriously disappeared. I just wish their front desk clerk was a little more professional and knew how to talk to customers when they have a complaint about something. When we spend our money we deserve to receive good service I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and I’ve never experienced that type of treatment
Terrible hotel. Rooms - stains on curtains and walls, no hot water, no AC. No point in complaining because everyone else in the hotel we knew had the same issues. Lobby and ballroom - ac was either out or not working appropriately. Ungodly hot. Restaurant - forget it. Go somewhere else. No one in the restaurant, 20 minute wait for what? We left and got food elsewhere. Hallway- doors kicked in, drywall falling down with mold behind it, ice machine didn’t work. The list goes on and on at this hotel. Do not ever stay here
Ok I tried with this place kept giving it the benefit of the doubt because I lived the location of my room. But the toilet ran the entire time I was here you can't take a shower without the tub fluffing because it fills but doesn't drain with out having to be serviced clearly there's work that needs done but they don't really Care. I mean my toilet has been running since I got here I have to use my own plumbing skills just to flush I just might not anymore. Ice machine doesn't work not just my room have 2 other coworkers on 2 other floors dealing with the same plumbing issues
This is a very fine mid-tier hotel. The rooms are fine, the staff is polite, and the surrounding area is alright. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you are hoping to get dinner or run some errands, you will likely have to get back in your car. There is a pond outside with a small walking path which was nice. My only issue is that I had to contact the hotel via email and it took almost a month before I was able to get a response which was frustrating.
This place must have been a such a sight to see back in its heyday. Now, it's a bit worn and in need of some TLC. The front desk, for the most part, were friendly and helpful, though one clerk never acknowledged us at all we walked away and came back later. There was a mix-up with the rooms, which gave me the impression that they are okay with bumping people to lesser rooms if it is convenient for them--seemed a little shady. Front desk made it right by digging up another room from their inventory. However, there was a spot missing from the ceiling plaster and the air conditioning, while working, rattled loudly. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was your typical hotel closet bathroom but the shower was very nice a plus even if we gained a multi-legged little friend on the last day. Hotel staff refreshed our bathroom while we were out, stocking new towels, which was much appreciated. Pool is a nice size and well maintained. It has an indoor and outdoor section, but given the time of year, we stayed in the indoor section. Hotel is huge and some rooms require quite a hike around the central courtyard section. One set of elevators broke during our time there. Also, the outside door on the first floor near the ballrooms didn't seem to lock ever. Some floors reek of weed.
