We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this adorable bed and breakfast. Our host was very accommodating, despite our late arrival. Our cabin was cozy and charming, with a rustic feel, a fireplace and an artificial fire that goes on during all seasons! The bathroom situation was a bit tight and challenging, but we made it work. The surroundings were quiet and serene, with opportunities for local hikes. And we loved the snack shack... ;)

My husband and I stayed for six days at this Bed & Breakfast. It was far from luxurious as stated. The rooms were not clean. When we did hang out our clean tag, on the door they didn't clean at all. In fact, they didn't even empty our two filled waste baskets. They only replaced our towels and not near as many as we started with. Except for a hall tree, there is no closet to hang clothes and no hangars were provided to use on the hall tree. The owners did provide us with a rolling clothes rack so that helped but still no hangars as promised. Luckily I brought most of my clothes on hangars in a garment bag.
Most importantly there are some real safety issues that need to be addressed.. To get to our room we had to go down a hill of loose gravel. It was so easy to slip if you lost your footing. Imagine carrying luggage.....that was not easy. The owner needs to build steps on the steeper parts.
The parking is bad. The parking closest to our cabin was on a very steep hill of gravel. So steep that it was hard to keep the car doors open. But what was really bad is when you pull out of this parking area it is very dangerous making a left turn due to a large overgrown shrub blocking the view of on coming traffic.
Oh and one more thing, watch out when stepping outside of the shower stall, the ceramic tile is very slippery. First night they provided us with a shower towel mat but they took it and never provided us with another. We ended up using one of our face towels.
On a positive note the dining room was so charming and overall the food was good. The part we enjoyed the most was visiting with the other guests......especially the young newlyweds. I did like the touch of the little house that had snacks and even home made cake provided for all guest at their leisure.
I really do see the vision that the owners have for this place. But this place needs some tender loving care especially the grounds. . Because the grounds are not taken care of properly it is an accident waiting to happen.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was our first Bed & Breakfast experience and it was absolutely perfect! The family that owns this diamond in the Ozarks is very friendly and down to earth.
We stayed in the Victorian Honeymoon Suite which was decorated beautifully with antique furniture pieces. When you stay in the Victorian Honeymoon Suite you get your breakfast delivered to your cabin at about 9:30 each day…what a treat! The food is to die for and my husband and I loved the intimate meals at the table inside the suite.
They have a private dock you can access for fishing, beautiful scenery, a perfect fire pit area for cozy fires and roasting marshmallows, and 24/7 access to a little coffee house onsite complete with free snacks, drinks, coffee, etc. My husband and I really enjoyed walking the grounds in the morning to grab our coffee and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend this place!

This B&B and unlike any I've seen with how it's set up. There are three log cabins with two rooms to each, set up duplex style. And then there is a honeymoon suite in the top floor of the main house. It's set atop a steep hill over Table Rock Lake and surrounded by beautiful trees and glimpses of the lake down below. Every morning the owner makes a big breakfast for the guests in the dinning room of the house. Spending this time with the other guests is a lot of fun to hear about what they're doing that day or just chatting about where they are from. The rooms are each uniquely decorated in a theme, but they are sort of dated and old folksy feeling. The actual bathroom is incredibly small and it's hard to even close the door behind you. However the jacuzzi tub makes up for all of that. Amazing to relax in and very romantic with your spouse. Overall I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a romantic getaway.
