Cubby's

Ordered pizza from the Percival, IA location around 630 tonight. Got the email it would be done around 7. We arrived a few minutes early and tried to get fountain drinks and 5 of the options were out of syrup. Got our drinks and went to pay for the drinks and pick up our order we prepaid for. The cashier was nice and went to the kitchen area to check on our food. The older lady in the kitchen “didn’t see” an order come through. The cashier let us know it would be a little bit so we went to take a seat. After 15 minutes the woman in the kitchen said they didn’t have the chicken bacon ranch pizza we ordered now 45 minutes ago or the dessert option we picked. She was not so quietly telling the cashiers that she doesn’t even know how to make things because she got 5 minutes of training before thrown into the kitchen and she isn’t doing it. She told me she was sorry but she isn’t trained in the kitchen and she did the orders she knew how to do. I was able to get a refund while my family used the restroom before we left. While I understand everywhere is short staffed and I tried to be patient and polite as it wasn’t anything I could fix by getting mad at them but if something is out of stock that should of been something addressed long before the 45 minute mark after the order was placed. Not to mention if she wasn’t trained in the kitchen there was a lot of stuff in the store that needed taken care of including the dirty bathrooms and all the fountain pops being out. Next time we will make sure to go to another place.

Went there because I heard the Chester's chicken is good. It was actually delicious!! It was fresh & crispy. The team members were all so nice. The manager was great & so hospitable so they have a good example. Cubby's Convenience store is in a good spot. It is a nice place to stop when heading out of town for gas, ice, drinks & snacks.

So I came here yesterday and experienced a real good brisket. Today I come in to buy a quantity as they serve ribs, chicken etc in quantities. The lady that was new fixed the package up because the other lady had an attitude and didn't seem like she wanted to work left her to do it. My order comes to the counter and Kim says its 6$ per 4 ounces and that they don't serve in bigger quantities. There was no effort made to even speak to management to see what could be done because I was more than willing to negotiate pricing. They basically had a take it or leave it attitude. I still bought a 4oz worth of brisket to show exactly how they are scamming visiting folks out of money. I live a half hour from here but it will be a half hour I will never waste again. Satisfaction less than guaranteed.

Don't tell people it'll be a 20 minute wait for chicken livers then when I get there in 20 minutes tell me she forgot to tell them to make them And tell me it'll be another 10 minutes. Don't tell people to breakfast sandwiches are buy 1 get 1 free when they're really buy one get another one for 11 cents I can add and I don't want to spend the money. Maybe if you'll spend less time chatting about your personal lives with each other and doing your job something might actually get done right.Thanks for wasting my gas And thanks for nothing!

The fourth Chester's I've stopped at in a month. The fourth I've seen advertising their new spicy chicken sandwich. The FIRST to have it in stock. Best Cubby's.

2/15/2022 around 2:30 went in for brisket. Stood at the counter for about 10 min, said f. It. While in line to pay for water. White lady walks in and got instant service.... How does your Corp. Headquarters have the lowest rating?

Was hungry!! Picked up a couple of chicken sandwiches, mac n cheese, Carmel corn which i was just eating and a cold drink...yum

Wife went in and they were super busy and messed my order up. It happens. They not only made it right with me but it was the best bbq I’ve had in a long time! Staff is always nice and I love going in there!

Awesome food, me and my work buddy stop here fairly often for drinks and lunch. The employees are always in an excellent mood and I love going there. No matter how hot or annoying work is, they always put a smile on my face!

Very disappointed after having multiple not pleasent experiences. They have vacuum cleaners one regular that cost 1.00 and I think the other one is a super vacuum which cost 2.00. The super vacuum is amazing but the only reason why I ended using that vacuum is because the other one which cost a 1.00 ate my my money. I ended up with spending almost 5.00 to only use the vacuum once. I was already behind so I didn't have time to run back in again with my daughter. I was going to mention the employees on my next visit but they had told me there gonna put out their cinnababies and make some fresh for me. Told me to come back in about 30 minutes I come back 45 min later and they didn't even bother making them and just kind of shrugged it off. The only person in the visits I was there that genuinely helped was the cashier he was very nice and very understanding. Its just very disappointing because it makes me not want to come back. I hope things will be different in future visits. I also hope the other employees will seem less distracted and more worried about the customers
