This place has been on my list for a while. They no longer serve Lamb but have replaced it with beef on the indoor menu. The workers are nice, quick, and professional and the serving sizes are hearty! I got the half and half plate with the spinach and potatoes and the chicken curry; they were both delicious. The flatbread was a little on the dry and flavorless side, but I’ve heard that it’s normally great. My favorite thing I ordered was the veggie samosas that I ordered on the side. I also got the lamb korma plate and paid a little over $35 for all of it.
We've been going here for a while now. My husband happens to know the owners and their staff is super nice every time we go in. I love how authentic their Pakistani food is and the spice level is insane! Our favorites to get is the curry chicken, any of their veggies and of course, the samosas. Thank you for staying throughout the years and sticking around through the pandemic. I wish them nothing but continued success. If you are visiting Utah and want to try something different and you are in a "hurry" this place is for you! PS: all of their curry is gluten free.
For what this place is trying to be, I think i they nailed it. No, this is not the best curry I've ever had, but it's still pretty good. You have to keep in mind that this place isn't trying to make the best curry out there. They're making very good curry and serving it up fast. And they do that very well. The price is fair for what you get imo, and if I find myself in the area again, I would definitely go again.
This was the first time I've eaten here, and I'm very satisfied! I ordered the chicken curry combo with mixed vegetables. The chicken is very tender, the flavor is amazing, and it's just spicy enough for me. I will definitely return to Curry in a Hurry!
This was the second time I have eaten at Curry In A Hurry. Both times have been great! Love the atmosphere and the menu accommodates the entire family. The kiddos got items off the kid’s menu, husband got a spicy curry and I enjoyed Keto friendly bowl with cauliflower rice. Happy to see they have added a low carb option and hope there are more to come.
I tried the Chicken Curry Plate, and honestly it tasted/looked like reheated canned curry. I was hungry, so I enjoyed it, like I do most things when I am hungry, the same way I enjoy canned chili and chips sometimes when I'm at home... But I won't be paying $13 for it again. They were quick, as their names suggests, so 2 stars for that. But the flavor was not worth the price.
I just ordered the collossal combo and feel like I got ripped off. No tandoori chicken in my meal, instead of a lassi I was offered a canned drink. I think it was thought I didn't know what a lassi is, so why not just give the white girl canned soda. The amount of food I got for 40 dollars is shameful. I have come here plenty of times with my indian fiancé and had great service and food. Tonight I went alone and feel like I was swindled into paying 40 dollars for the same amount you get when you pay 15. We won't be back.
2021: felt sorry and disappointed eating here recently. : Ate the same combo plate that we love before but the quality is very different now. Pita bread is obviously bought from a store. Little amount of rice, little curry with literally 2-3 small pieces of lamb and a small tandoori chicken for the combo. I even had a stomachache after eating. Can’t even understand the cashier’s words and she’s not friendly at all. Mango lassi cup is not even full for it’s small size. Not sure if we want to go back to this place again. 2019: I think this is the best curry place I've been to so far! Love the Lamb curry, it's so flavorful and luscious and all the good spices hit your palate. Chicken curry is too much for me because the coconut milk is overpowering. Combo meals include 2 types of curry with vegetable side and pita bread. I love the mango lassi too. Their pricing is just right and not too much compared to other curry places in the area.
The curry is amazing!! I had a mix up with my order and was given the wrong food but they were very kind while making it right for me. I got the veggie curry which includes four different veggie curries and it was all delicious! Thank you I’ll be coming backRecommended dishesVeggie Samosa, Veggie Combo
They don't have many options. The water was room temperature tap water. Seemed kinda pricey. I feel like I would've rather eaten somewhere else for the money. But the food tasted good and was nice and hot. The flat bread didn't quite seem fresh though. Vegetarian options: Definitely had vegetarian options with the veggie curry.
