From out of town and sick, staying at a nearby hotel, my doctor called in meds for me at this CVS. In just a few minutes I received the call they were ready and I was able to pick them up quickly. The staff was friendly and thanks to their quick action filling the order, my critical business trip was saved. I’m not typically a CVS customer, but that may be changing. Thanks so much for the great service and professionalism!
Turned up to get flu jab, was made to wait 20 minutes after appt was scheduled and the lady wouldn’t tell the queue of people the order in which we’d be seen. Was then told I had to pay $50 despite giving my insurance information and she insisted I didn’t have cover. Went to a different cvs following week DuPont circle and they were much more friendly and confirmed I had cover so wouldn’t incur a charge. The lady was also incredibly rude, avoid this pharmacy.
I have been at this location pharmacy tonight around 7:20 pm. I rushed out from emergency room to catch them before closing the pharmacy I was in bad pain because of ear infections. The pharmacist Amir & Melak/ Mulat/sorry I’m not sure about her name but they both helped me well. They saved my life, thank you so much. This is what we call good service professionalism.
Pretty regular CVS. Sometimes the pharmacy staff are nice, some are incredibly rude. It has item I need and self service counters.
Never place an online order here! I had placed an online order for in store pick-up and before I could go pick it up I received an email stating it had already been picked up the same day. I called the store to see what happened or if I could get a refund because I never picked it up. The guy who picked up my ordered somehow showed a receipt. All he had to do was show the receipt, no credit card or ID for identity verification. They won’t give a refund because the product was picked up. So now I’m out $100 and no product.
Joan Udejiofor, at the 2240 M St CVS Minute Clinic, is the rudest health service professional we have ever dealt with, and seems actively invested in her role as a gatekeeper for COVID-19 antivirals which are available in abundance at her CVS location. Reading some of the other reviews for this CVS, this poor service and attitude seem to be a consistent pattern for her. She openly states she does not follow CDC prescription guidelines and seems, bizarrely, to take pleasure in patient distress. The CDC could certainly make her job easier by providing clearer guidance, but as she "doesn't follow the CDC," it is unclear if this would make any difference. Maybe she was having a bad day? But her attitude is not forgivable.
Awful experience at this minute clinic. When I arrived, the kiosk didn't have my appointment information and when I flagged down the practitioner, Joan, to let her know which was incredibly difficult as she just kept ignoring me when I tried to speak to her, she was extremely rude and accused me of being late for my appt I was actually 10 minutes early. Overall she was just very confrontational and unpleasant to deal with. Now, six months later, I've learned she only wrote me a six month prescription, even though I have always gotten a year long prescription at other minute clinics. Now I need to find time for another minute clinic appt much earlier than expected, and my annual flu shot/prescription renewal routine is totally harpooned. Don't bother with this minute clinic -- rude and incompetent.
I had an issue today with the purchase of several items and Calvin, the Manager, resolved it quickly with such a pleasant and reassuring attitude. I also noticed that Michael, a sales assistant in this store, is very courteous, efficient and helpful.
WORST minute clinic. The doctor came out of her room and said that I messed up the timing of the appointment. As I tried to ask her how she slammed the door in my face. I knocked on her door 4 times. She didn’t answer. Then she finally came out after she realized that she read her schedule wrong. She let someone else in that had an appointment later than me so my appointment was pushed back. Horrible tone and incredibly rude. Told me to go to the ER because she was too lazy. She rolled her eyes at me then told me to leave because “there was nothing she could do.”
Laziest physician I have ever dealt with in my life. I administered my own Covid test leaving me to wonder why an appointment is necessary in the first place and was unable to get a strep test [sore throat is my only symptom] because it “is a different appointment” Aka pure laziness since her partner physician administered both tests for me at my request during my last appointment.
