Do not use. Had my prescription sent here on a Saturday and despite their quoted opening hours they don’t have a pharmacist so aren’t open. Now waiting for antibiotics for a sick relative hoping someone shows up to work! No apology from the staff, just is what it is!
went there and the drink section was a little empty. i did find something for me, but what absolutely made my day was the employee behind the counter on sunday 09/10 around 2pm, who greeted everyone with the brightest smile even though she didn't really need to interact with people, because of the 2 automatic cash registers. She is blessed with the gift of contagious smile and i wish the best life for her
Only had 2 self check out machines. Two workers were at the front so I kindly requested they complete the check out for me at the regular register, they refused. Customers do not have the time to play the role of cashiers and baggers.
Good cvs location but not great. Had no issues getting my flu shot here
As the other comments have stated, this is truly the WORST pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune of using. 1 My RX has gone missing ie unfilled multiple times - even though I have received notification that it is ready for pickup. When the pharmacist or pharm tech ensures that my RX will be ready for pick up the next day, it is STILL UNFILLED. This has happened twice. And I have gone without my RX for days. 2 Incorrect refills. My RX requires a 30 day refill; however, my RX keeps getting filled at a 10 day refill even after I have asked them to change it. Please note that my doctor has never changed my RX. 3 Fluctuating prices. I used to fill my RX down the street at Kroger and paid $1.68 each month. Due to my insurance changing their services, I moved to CVS where they charged me a different price every month my insurance did not change - just which pharmacy I can go to. One month it will be $10, the next $3, then $1, then $7. I have to ask them to check if there are coupons. They will say NO until I pull up a GoodRX coupon on my phone and ask them to scan it. Only then will they pull up a coupon on their end. 4 The above three incidents are dangerous my RX is for quality of life but what if my medications are for me stay alive?, but what is truly awful and makes this particular pharmacy the 8th level of hell is the customer service. The pharmacy techs not pharmacists are rude and have an attitude. I have witnessed their bad customer service with patients ahead of me in line, in addition to experiencing it myself. When you ask the techs questions, they will be short, give you looks, and generally refuse to help you other than handing you meds and swiping your card.
Absolutely the rudest staff at the CVS pharmacy on West Gray!
African American women slapped our face saying they were closed right at 10:58pm when their closing time is 11pm. We were just trying to get 1 thing. There’s no need to give us attitude like that. Your customer service need some improvement.
My doctor called in 3 prescriptions in for me on Monday, after a telemedicine visit because I was sick. I asked CVS to mail the prescriptions to me, as I pay CVS monthly to have them mailed. On Thursday, I called the pharmacy because I had not received them, and they told me that the tracking number showed that the medications were out for delivery on Wednesday. I asked the lady to call the post office, and refusing to call the post office, she said that I should receive them on Friday. I didn't receive it on Friday, so I called again, and spoke with a man, named Dave in the pharmacy, who told me that I could call the post office. I told him that I didn't mail it, and that he should contact the post office, and trace it, and/or mail me the prescriptions again because I was sick. I don't even have the tracking number! He said that he couldn't do anything about it because the pharmacy manager was out of town until next Tuesday. In the meantime, I have no medications. Where's the accountability, and the care for the customers who need and paid for medications? According to Dave, apparently, I signed something when I signed up for mail deliveries, inferring that it was not their problem. I live only 2-3 blocks from the pharmacy, but they can't get me my much needed medication or replace it!
Made an appointment for a COVID booster shot for me and my husband. We showed up 30 min early, there were 3 pharmacists behind the counter and no other customers/patients at/around the pharmacy. Despite that, they still asked for my husband and I to wait 15 min so that we could check in online. We waited the 15 min to “check in” then we were told we had to wait again for the pharmacist to call us up. Clearly the pharmacists here don’t care to work and do their job if they’re making people wait for nonexistent reasons given there’s no one else here. Terrible service from the pharmacy department. Don’t get your vaccine or booster taken here unless you want to wait in the store for absolutely no reason. Not sure if this is their way of thinking that customers will spend money while they wait, but I specifically put back my purchases because I’m not giving my money to a store that doesn’t value my time simply because they don’t feel like doing their job.
I’ve never done a review to a pharmacy before but just gotta say Bryanna in the front cashwrap is an excellent employee. Helped me out with updating my cvs account and with my UPS returns. Super helpful and with a great attitude. Also Pharmacy was well stocked.
