I have been a customer of this pharmacy for 4 years, and other CVS stores locally before that. The pharmacy techs have no customer service abilities. I asked why my prescription was changed to a different manufacturer and wasn’t notified. I was told by the tech “you get what you get at a retail pharmacy”. They also treat you like a drug addict for needing your controlled medication on time. No, it’s not good to go off medication. But they are totally ok if you’re about to have a seizure because of their errors. They’ve said “Then you need to go to the ER if it’s that bad”. If the pharmacy can’t get your prescription they should help you. I think these people are worked to death and don’t care anymore. They get a 30 minute lunch. That doesn’t explain the behavior though.
Disfunctional wouldn't even begin to cover it. After getting confirmation through the automated system because they will NOT ever answer the phone at this pharmacy, I showed up at the time given for the prescription to be ready. The staff was confused for a moment, but eventually found my prescription. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait to fill it. I waited in the parking lot, before getting a call 45 minutes later saying we would need a brand new prescription in order for it to be filled. This of course doesn't make any sense. Upon pushing Terry further about it, he said that the automated system can't be trusted and we should've gotten in touch with them if only they would've answered any of our 3 calls over the course of 2 days. Our doctor moved the prescription, the automated system said it would be ready at 5:45, and then at 6:30 I was told they couldn't do it. None of it makes sense, and now we have to go an extra day without our important medication. This pharmacy let us down in so many different ways, and we were powerless to ask them to help us. This pharmacy is garbage. It's obviously understaffed and painfully slow too.
Pros: minute clinic, vaccinations, helpful employees, open 24hrs I scheduled my 2 dose covid19 vacation via the cvs website. The process was quick and user-friendly. The minute clinic is always fast and convenient avoiding waiting rooms! I've used the clinic for testing and vaccinations and both times were easy breezy interactions. The staff is always friendly. I like that CVS is always a quick convenient stop. I mostly stop in for personal care items or even grocery items in a pinch.
Yes this CVS is 24 hours but not many options to choose from as far as body supplie, deodorant, toothpaste toothbrush, some brands are not available, which means I have to go to Target or Walmart
Terry, the pharmacist, was so helpful. He went above and beyond to help me get my prescriptions. It was 3 minutes until they close. He very graciously expedited them, rung them up and completed the transaction in 3 minutes. Fastest device ever!!! I know this kind of service isn’t to be expected normally. Normal process of a prescription has many steps on the computer. How he did it was a miracle. Without my medication, it’s very uncomfortable to say the least. While they aren’t the tightest controlled substances they deal with, There are still regulations and he followed all of them and still got them to me in time. Thank you terry!!! You turned what would have been a miserable weekend into a weekend I can enjoy with my children. I’ve never seen terry at this pharmacy before. If he’s new, he’s an asset to your company as well as a great hire. Don’t let him go!
Do not go here if you actually want to get the meds your doctor orders for you. The line is always out the door and the staff is rude if you question anything. The pharmasist Cassie hung up on me because I was upset that they couldn't transfer meds to a new pharmacy without messing that up. The pharmacist Carrie told my new pharmacy our profile didn't exist. When I called back to CVS I was told I was "a terrible human" and hung up on again. Medications are not something that you play with. Done with this pharmacy and I hope the pharmacist gets the same customer service she gives. Do better people, it starts with you! I will say that customer service at CVS headquarters was wonderful with handling my complaint.
I went pick up my Rx this morning at this CVS a Pharmacy Tech her name is Sarah Smith, she always talked so disrespectful and her voice is always loud, when you talk abt HIPPA privacy there is no privacy at all as far as patients privacy,. However, she asked for my ID when she gave it back, to me it landed on the floor came across from the counter. I told her my Rx the day supply is not right, she refunded me the money and walk away told me I have to come back later, well tonight I called the pharmacy to see if this same Rx is ready, she put it on hold instead of fixed my Rx. I am so thankful for pharmacist Terry, he is very nice always fixed this same Rx when I needed to refilled, I dont normally complaints. However, today is the last straw for this ladySarah this is the main reason I don't hardly go there in the morning because I knew she always there. If you're tired of your job, please find another job where u can be happy, don't be in a job when you feel miserable and treated people the ways you do.!
I stopped by here because they were 24 hours I’ve been twice now and the pharmacy was exceptional and got my prescriptions filled very quickly and even transferred them from Texas in no time. The lady at store checkout was very helpful and nice. Thank you for the great experience.
You corporation worked your employees to death during Covid and now you have cut back on hours/staffing resulting in them being busier and RX fill times taking longer. Staff is always friendly but I feel awful for them.
I will be filling a complaint against the manager for what just transpired. I paid for my groceries and picked up important medicine for my husband. I checked out an got my emailed receipt and notification from my bank for checking out. And then the machine said that the transaction was canceled. The manager told me he wouldn’t let me leave the store and that I would have to repay for my items. He was extremely rude and refused to even look the receipt I was trying to show him. I will be calling corporate. I come here often and all the other employees have been extremely nice. But this was completely uncalled for. He doesn’t need to be a manager if he is incapable of looking in the situation and checking my receipt. I offered to call the police because I paid and he said he wasn’t going to let me leave. And to make matters worse my husband was waiting on me for his medication. And I am a retired veteran with ptsd so this was a very stressful situation. Especially after just getting out of the hospital with my husband.
