This was my first time visiting Heber Springs, Greers Ferry Lake and the Dam Site Campground.
The Park Attendants were very helpful and friendly.
The facilities are nicer than most I have known in parks meaning that there were like 6 bathrooms with showers at the section I was in and there was even heat in there for your shower.
The playground was nice as was a peninsula that had geese nesting on it.
There are many different things to do at this location. We fished by the Dam along the river. I caught nothing with minnows or artificial bait but one member had a couple bites and it was a large fish maybe a walleye that flopped above the water at one point.
There are many great views of the river and lake. I did not walk the trail system that is within the park here so I look forward to checking that out in the future.
The map in my pictures has the primitive campsites circled.

Clean with nice bathrooms. Don't expect super hot water for a shower though.

Good space for a tent & camper. Tent platform was very level. Camper space was extremely unlevel. Firepit was completely rusted out. Bathrooms were not sanitary. Toilet paper was all over the floor, additionally there was no sinks in the bahroom to wash your hands. Play ground was nice. Check in was awful, waited 30min for the staff to check in two people ahead and finally walked out. Went back the next morning and waited again and was told they were closing, but to please be sure to pay before we left the campground.
