My daughter started here over 3 years ago and has enjoyed every moment of her journey. The atmosphere and family nature of the program and studio have opened my children's eyes to how martial arts impacts more than just self defense. My whole family (myself, three daughters, and wife) now attends the school and we always enjoy whatever the day throws at us. I would recommend this school to anyone who values self defense and family.

After personally training here for 10 straight years I can say from experience that Dan Hurd's is the best martial arts facility in the valley. The instructors are friendly and dedicated and it shows in their work. Coming in and watching one of the kids classes it doesn't take long to see that the kids are having fun and being engaged as well as gaining amazing experience that will last through their lifetime.

My family has been attending Dan Hurds Academy for almost 7 years. My brother is currently working on getting his black belt. I take their kickboxing class, which is amazing. All of the students love what they are doing, and the instructors have been doing this long enough that I trust them completely with my safety and my family's safety. I recommend this place to anyone interested in karate.

You cannot find a better studio in Las Vegas or Henderson! Go here. Their karate is the real deal. Its not for show, its for pure age-appropriate self-defense--in all kinds of situations. They don't try and rip you off with contracts, crazy up-sells you don't need, or expensive tournaments. Best investment we ever made for our son. He started at age 3 and has been with these guys for 13 years. He is now one of the most confident, polite young men you could ever meet, as well as an excellent student in his high school. It is a very positive environment. More families than not, watch their kids grow up at this studio. Often parents end up joining the adult classes!
