Dan, we cannot thank you enough for being our wedding photographer and for the impeccable photos and the overall positive experience that you gave to Rose and I this past October 2017. You excelled in every possible way and your pursuit for perfection, even in wet and cloudy weather conditions, showed through your work. We appreciate everything that you did for us, from our first FaceTime call all the way through the delivery of the final photos. Your packaging was on point and true to northern Michigan style and fashion and that added even more topping to the already delicious cake. Every vendor that we spoke with leading up to the wedding spoke highly of you, having either worked with you in the past, or having heard good things about you from others. That speaks volumes. For us, finding the right wedding photographer was one of the single most important tasks in putting our wedding together, and certainly one of the most daunting. You put us at ease and after seeing your work and hearing such positive feedback from our vendors, we knew that we had the right person. Your personality meshed well with our guests and our laid back and intimate winery party and all of our guests enjoyed you and appreciated your professionalism. Your assistant and photographer were also amazing as well and all of their work and efforts through the day and evening shined brightly. Thank you for putting the work and time into our special day and thank you for giving us a wonderful wedding experience.

There are not enough words to explain how grateful we are that we booked Dan Stewart Photography to capture our special day. We were completely blown away from start to finish while working with Dan. He is SO much more than just a photographer and and we quite simply would have been lost without Dan's guidance and recommendations for our wedding day to go seamlessly. Dan and his whole team truly deliver on their mission of telling a story through the pictures that they capture. When we look back on our pictures we laugh, cry, and immediately feel like we are back reliving our special day and the beautiful memories that we created. Dan guided us from the very beginning and had some of the best recommendations that we hadn't even thought about. Wedding planning is overwhelming and Dan eased SO MANY of our worries throughout the whole planning process. His organization, attention to detail, and authentic talent blew us away. We cannot say enough good things about Dan and his team and would book them over and over again. Even people from our wedding commented on how professional, efficient, and just plain awesome Dan and his team were. With pictures being one of the only things that you get to take with you after your wedding day, we feel so blessed that we have some true treasures to look back at. Booking them was hands down one of the very best decisions that we made, and we are forever grateful that we have the most beautiful photos to look back on that captured our day better than we could have ever imagined.

We knew we were getting married in Traverse City and wanted to find a photographer that could capture our big day. We looked up local photographers and Dan's portfolio just stood out to us in how he captured his subjects. We set up a meeting to talk and from there, we just clicked well. He was very attentive to our asks and what we wanted for the wedding day. As for the big day, Dan and team did an amazing job shooting every aspect of it. He really showed his knowledge and expertise of the venue since he's familiar with many of the spots in town. We would highly recommend Dan to anyone looking to have their engagement or wedding photos, but don't take it just from this review, go look at his work and you will be sold!

While some have every detail planned for their wedding before it is even in their near future... having Dan and his team be a part of my future wedding was something I always knew. Our first contact and meet with Dan was what sold us. He was easy to talk with and made us feel comfortable that he would be able to capture our moments that would soon be a memory. Dan was efficient with ideas and confident in what to capture. There was not a moment that I felt I had to guide him or present to him with ideas. Furthermore, he had flexibility for a couple specific shots that we had wanted. This alone made our wedding day less stressful. My husband and I, our families, friends and bridal party absolutely loved Dan and his team. They fit in as if they were attending a wedding of their own family therefore catching many raw and unique photographs. Dan and his team were able to produce to us hundreds of photographs and lifelong memories quickly. They captured so many images we weren’t apart of and that is what means the most to me. The photographs are beautiful, elegant and charming. We had no doubt this would be the case but they blew me out of the water. We would recommend Dan and his team to anyone looking for a northern Michigan photographer. Being a native to the area helped with his fantastic ideas. Thank you again to Dan and his excellent team. When I first got engaged I went on the hunt for the perfect photographer. I talked and reviewed the work of a few different people but from the start Dan stood out! He's work was amazing and his overall personality was great. Throughout the planning process my husband and I really appreciated his responsiveness, professionalism and easy going personality. When the wedding day arrived, Dan and his crew were fantastic! They had the ability to capture the perfect photos while making the moment fun and easy. Everyone was just having a good time! In addition, I was blown away by the quality and the speed of which we received our full wedding gallery. I keep telling my husband that I want a print of every single photo he took! I highly recommend Dan Stewart Photography.
