Dark Side

I love coming here. I have purchased several Wizards of the Coast books from here, all at great prices. Talking to the owner/operators is always fun and we can swap some great stories. There are a ton of board games to play, CCG's and Role playing games that are open for people to join or you can bring your own group with you and really enjoy your time there. A wonderful place and highly recommended.

Good selection of card, board, miniatures and paper gaming. Awesome collection of comics and graphic novels. Some limited selection on singles for card games but that’s the market lately. Have been here once for cars tournaments and there was a good number of events for a Friday night. Only drawback was that the events were scattered and hectic with not much structure. (People just yelling out opponents instead of a posted or printed list).

The store is super cool but the lady who worked there today needs an attitude adjustment. I took my 7 year old nephew to get a pokimon card of his choice, he choose one everything went fine till we got to the counter. He reached for a pokimon ball that was up front in a nasty way she told him not to touch, no problem with telling him not to touch rude is unacceptable to a polite 7 year old. Then as we checking out his trying to tell the lady why he likes the card, she was talking over him again in a nasty tone, I had enough and told her why can’t she just take a sec to hear him out. She put her head down and ignored him all along being nasty. I spent almost 50 bucks on a card and took him there before the price is not the issue but the treatment of a 7 year old. When we walked out my nephew asked me why she didn’t like him or if he did something wrong. I had to explain to him that some people have no manners and that no one should ever treat him that way. I don’t understand why I had to have this conversation with a 7 year old while getting him a birthday gift. As long as she’s there I will never go back, and I hope she sees this review so she can think about what it means being in a business where you need some customer service skills.

Anything you could want for tabletop or rp gaming can be found here. If you saw it at a convention, they sell it. Wonderful staff, very very knowledgeable people. They host several events just ask and they will let you know what's coming up.

I love this place has comic books, board games, card games, magic cards and more. They have tables to play on and have tournament days. There are drinks and snacks too. People that work there are knowledgeable about products.
