Read More Comics

My boyfriend and father in law love this place! Recommend for all comic lovers. The owner is super nice and friendly! Feels like home coming here. Also, many comic selections and the owner notify us whenever there are new comics! Very nice and friendly! It’s a little hard to find, but it’s a special place if you find it.

I'm an avid reader, and I'm always on the hunt for good comic book stores, and I could give a review (good & bad) of just about every one in the Tampa Bay area. Of all the stores to choose from, my favorite HANDS DOWN is Read More Comics! I used to have a subscription at another store in Tampa Bay, but a few years ago I made the transition to Read More. Scott (the owner) is an honest man of integrity, who prides himself on treating each customer of his like gold. As a Daredevil completist, I know that Scott will ensure to get me the variants and hard to find comics without price gouging. It's also great to actually "talk shop" with an owner who actually READS COMICS (which should be the case with other store owners/staff, but typically not always the case). Plus, if you're looking for collections of great stories/graphic novels, there is no greater selection of GRAPHIC NOVELS/TPB's & Hardcovers ANYWHERE that I have witnessed (and I've been to Mile High Comics in Denver - the biggest comic store in the world), and the prices are ALWAYS 25% off the cover the price! Folks, the best LCS in Tampa Bay is READ MORE COMICS!!!

Used to go for 10 years. Luckily found a better store where employees know how to treat people with respect. As for the statue, it was sold so not an issue. I said to cancel the preorder before it ever arrived.

I've been going to this place for years. They have a great selection and customer service. All the employees and owner are really knowledgeable and good about recommendations. You can easily lose track of time just looking around at all the different comics, graphic novels, and statues inside like a kid in a blockbuster.

Scott is friendly and is cares about you as a customer. I love a bag and board comes with your comics.
