It's a little sushi gem. The rolls are delicate, artisan. I have only gotten takeout and maybe that was perfect. You can order ahead and eat in a nearby park. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.
Dasiwa is one of the best sushi spots in the city, and they do it without being overpriced or pretentious. Its just damn good sushi with quality ingredients. Not to mention this service and attention to detail. This was for take out!Food: 5/5
Im sorry, but no. Didn’t taste fresh and the dumplings / soup came cold. Wasn’t very tasty to me. Wish it were better because I live close but unfortunately was a miss for me :
Got 3 rolls, pork dumplings, and miso soup. The dumplings and soup were ice cold and clearly not fresh. The sushi was barely edible. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews.Food: 1/5
Loved the food, very high quality sushi, good service also. Casual atmosphere, not too loud -can have a nice conversation and not feel like you're shouting. Kid friendly -have high chairs. Give you lollipops after dinner! Enjoy ordering take out as well. Will return again and again!
Good little sushi place, although most of the art in the place are of Korean... The food was fresh, we came a an early bird after a trip front the museum, so the place is basically empty. Their sashimi for 2 is a bit small, need to order 2 more rows.
Amazing, cozy sushi place! Very friendly and the mermaid roll is always incredible. Fresh fish and the ginger salad dressing is delicious and different. This is the best in the neighborhood!
It was close to philly museum of art & korean-owned, so i gave it a try. Needless to say, it was ok. Nothing spectacular. I had better sushi in Denton, Texas @ Sushi Motto The price seemed reasonable, so I don’t know why people are saying it’s too expensive. It’s Sushi, what do you expect? You can’t trust cheap sushi, folks.
The sushi was really good at this place. The only downside is that it's a little bit expensive for what you're getting because it's not a very fancy restaurant. It's BYOB so I can imagine having a good time here, it's just not top of the line. Lastly, I got the Maki Trio, and my date got the Alaska roll and they were all great.
I've gotten takeout here several times and every time has been fantastic! I especially like the salmon nigiri - it tastes super fresh. The other rolls are good too - their veggie rolls are awesome!
