Daum Museum of Contemporary Art

Fun trip if you have some free time on the weekend and don't want to spend money. The artwork has some stunning pieces but most are just interesting.

Amazing to find such an enlightened selection of modern art in such a small town. If your tastes veer to the Rauschenberg or Warhol then you will enjoy the tastes curated in this public space. It's a small to medium sized space with three accessible floors. So, when you get bored at the State Fair Swine Pavillion, jus pop on over to the Daum and soak in some color halftone dot patterns of Lichtenstein or marvel at the organic lines of the Chihuly. Its all modern all the time in this rustic bucolic setting.
