Dawn Donuts

I came in just before they closed. My husband had a day surgery, and came out wanting a donut! Wow, even though almost everything had been sold, I was able to get a few options. Let me just say that their donuts were the best ever! I loved the blueberry one and my husband ate three glazed ones, he was so pleased! You will not be disappointed! The nice young man behind the counter was quite helpful!

This donut shop has been the highlight of our trip to Houston. Staff and owner were absolute sweethearts! They were so kind and explained all the different things on their menu. Their donuts and kolaches were both PHENOMENAL and the Vietnamese coffee was delicious. 11/10 would recommend and will be coming back again!Food: 5/5

Yall can’t tell me that theses don’t look good! Went there for the first time today. When I walked in they greeted me with “Good Morning Welcome”& big smiles lol Everything looked so good I had to grab a few different donuts to try & they gave me free donut holes which really made my day! The guy in the back came up to greet me & asked me how I was this morning. Very genuine customer service which made it top tier. Now the donuts… the kolache was ok, the cheese texture was off putting to me I’m a texture person but other than that everything else that I got was delicious my favorite is this apple fritter, so good you could taste the cinnamon really well way better than Shipleys not to compare. I’m so glad that I finally got to try this place and I’ll definitely be back!

My favorite mom and pop donut shop. Excellent service, excellent donuts plain glazed and blueberry cake are great—and they have boudin kolaches and breakfast tacos! I also recommend the almond croissant Food: 5/5

Got a sausage and a boudin kolache as well as a dozen donut holes. The owner was nice I was hoping for some freebies like the other reviewers mentioned but didn't get any lol. The breading of the kolaches was amazing. I wish the meat to bread ratio was bigger for the sausage kolache and that there was cheese around the kolache/on the bread versus only in the sausage. I love that the sausage had cheese/kolache in it though! The boudin kolache was good- my first time having one. The meat to bread ratio was better in this one. The flavors are definitely Vietnamese-esque. I think I'm just not a boudin kolache person. The donut holes were amazing, fluffy and not overly sweet. Definitely want to return to support a small Asian run business :

I just moved in to the area and found this place and I must say I was not disappointed. Great donuts and kolaches! Also I mentioned that it was my daughters bday and they fixed a batch of donut holes with sprinkles for her for free, it was nice of them to do that. I recommend this place 10000%

Could use a larger number of different kind of pasteries. Service friendly and fast. Many of time if what I want is not already made. He will have it made to my like. 10 min. Max Parking: Reserved front door parking Kid-friendliness: Kids love the smell and able to see even out back where things are in The making.

Chris is such an awesome person, he makes the place light up… he’s so nice plus the donut taste delicious anticipate your needs. Throughout the Chris demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, ensuring we got everything.. Overall, Chris provided exceptional service, and I highly recommend stopping to get a donut.. Will definitely be returning in the future!!
