This hotel was a place to rest. Upon entering there definitely is a smell. Other than that the lobby was clean. The rooms however were covered with hair. The bathroom floor, countertop, toilet, shower/tub all had remnants of someone else's hair. I always make a habit to bring cleaning supplies esepecially now due to covid but this was yuck. The Hello Sunshine linen was dirty as well as the lamp shade appeared to have dark dirty spots which we prayed weren't mold spots. Yeah...be mindful and check your room well. Our room was cleaner when we left then when we got there.
The hotel is in a good location near shopping, restaurants, iFly Indoor skydiving and the ballpark. It takes about 15 minutes to the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic park. The managers and workers in the hotel are very kind and helpful. The room is ok the room looked better and brighter in the pictures but it didn't have a closet or drawers for clothing just one hook. Anyone who stays there will have to keep their clothes in their luggage. The breakfast in the lobby is poor because it only served pancakes from a machine, English muffins, muffins, coffee, yogurt and two types of juices. If you need a good breakfast than you can walk up the street to McDonald's or take a five minute drive to Waffle House. They did housekeeping every other day and if you decide to leave early then you get a refund on the days you didn't stay.
stayed here for the location. It got the job done for my visit but probably never again unless I'm desperate. The lamps were a bit beat up and the bathroom door was very close to the toilet which was weird. There was a cockroach in my bathroom crawling out the cracks of the wall I saw on my last day. The fridge froze my leftovers even when I put them on the bottom shelf. This was a good spot to get to Truist Park, but other than that.... Yeah never again.
The good: The bed size and comfort level was pretty good, big TV we could plug a gaming system into, big minifridge, desk and chair were comfortable enough to do some light work at. The not so good: The bed was comfortable, however, the sheets were not. Luckily, ours weren't as gross as other reviewers mentioned - but those "Hello Sunshine" covers, duvets, and other décor were all stained and they're clearly going to keep making due with them. The wifi went down from the storm, c'est la vie, but it really made the person at reception's job so much harder. The really not so good: We were called at about 2am to go move our car for some trucker who couldn't maneuver the lot or they were threatening to tow us?? Then they called us at about 10am and asked "Are you leaving or are you staying?" I'd understand if we were running late, but we had at least an hour to check out when they called. This is on top of waking up to the slamming of the cleaning carts at 9am or so. Never really felt like an inconvenience as a guest before, but those calls sure made us feel that way. An aside of concern: their lobby elevator is overdue for it's yearly inspection. Maybe they have it scheduled, even though they forgot in 2022, but hopefully if they read this, they'll get on that, check their fire extinguishers/system, etc for safety. Maybe update their computer network while they're at it so the storm doesn't knock out their check in system again leaving the one person behind the desk juggling so many roles again.
Front desk gave a stranger a key to my room where he came in and rummaged through my stuff and walked into the bathroom where I was getting a bath after a long travel then quickly left and we both went to front desk like what the world. The girl at the front desk simply said “oh, I made a big mistake” RUINED THE ENTIRE TRIP. I felt so violated and unsafe the remainder of the time there. NOT up to date on safety measures at all. Seriously if you are a woman and will be alone at any point this is not the place for you!!
Excellent customer service. Staff is very kind. Beautiful location! Stayed there with my husband and 3 kids and wasn’t disappointed at all.Rooms: 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Great staff. Breakfast was ok. Loved my stay.
Where to start with this hotel. This is the most 1 star hotel I’ve ever been to. Motels have been nicer than this hotel. It DOES surprisingly have a fridge and microwave. But that is really all it offers. The included breakfast is worthless at best. Just some muffins, bread and orange juice. Now into the bad. The hotel rooms are incredibly humid. A/C blasted and fan on and the air is just sticky. The sheets on the bed were dirty. I stayed two nights to visit three braves games. Of course when it’s game weekend the price of the room went from $70 to $200 a night. So two night and I paid them over $400 after taxes and such. So after getting $400 from me for a two night stay, they charged me another $30 to park on my last day there. So parking was included for Friday and Saturday, but because we checked out Sunday I had to pay them $30 more dollars. This hotel is clearly just willing to Nickel and dime you for everything. Will not be returning.
Every room smells so bad. Our first room had mold on the AC unit and we requested a room change. Of course the 2nd room also had mold on its AC unit. Both rooms smelled bad. The bedsheets seem unclean. Stuff was left in refrigerator when we opened it. Also the elevator scares me. I'm glad I only had to stay a few hours.Rooms: 1/5
