Days Inn by Wyndham Birmingham/West

The bed sheets are clean. The floor and the room are clean. But the bed cover has stain and the iron board has stain. One of the chairs is in poor state. The drain in the shower is slow. The hotel is next to a highway and rail road so you will hear road noise and train air horn. They collected $50 refundable deposit. So pretty average hotel. The laundry is coin operated and only has 1 washer and 1 dryer and they said it is 3rd party owned not the hotel operator. We went to a laundromat instead. Please see photos I uploaded.

Glad to get off the property without my thoat being cut. Crack house central. Grown men sitting around half dressed,pool was covered,property not maintained. The girl behind the desk was nice and assured us we would be safe because at night all the doors would be locked. Don’t make the mistake of looking for a deal here it will be the wrong kind of “deal”! Rooms: Below basic. Dirty , didn’t smell bad but didn’t smell clean. Safety: Felt threatened by simply being on the property. Couldn’t get a refund but felt blessed it only cost me $100 bucks to drive away unharmed. Noteworthy details: Crack house!! Watched a deal go down from my vehicle before I could get of the property.

Look fam...it's a 3 Star Hotel not the Ritz first off. Looks like they got free breakfast in the AM and a pancake maker thing. Ive stayed at nice hotels that either don't have breakfast or make you pay $17 for a buffet breakfast that isn't even as good as freakin McDonald's. Biggest thing is this hotel is in the hood. Like hood, hood. That ain't the hotels fault, blame Birmingham Room was clean, I've had hotels that were upwards of $70/night and I had freakin roaches in the bathroom, stingy with the towels and pee stains on the wall in the bathroom and they did NOTHING to fix it. Here the room was clean, looks like they had a remodel recently. Pool didn't look open but honestly I'm goooooood on swimming in the hood pool Look...TL;DR... You want a cheap hotel to crash for a night or two and don't mind being right in the middle of the trap, you can do a helluva lot worse. The people running this are holding up their end of the bargain and doing the best with where they're at. Bro...it's a cheap 3* hotel want something better spend the money UPDATE: Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. The pancake machine doesn't work there is a plugged in warmer that a tray of eggs and breakfast meats could go into but it's empty. Basically you got cold cereal, toast, oatmeal, coffee and juice. Not the end of the world and there are places that say they offer breakfasts and offer nothing or it's a grabnand go bag of a snack cake, banana, and bottle of water. Just set your expectations accordingly

This place is in a sketchy area and there is a train that comes by and honks several times during the night. Woke up my kids and I more than twice. Close by to a gravel business apparently bc the trucks going in and out or dump trucks and that started at 6 am. Pool was covered middle of March. Beds are metal. Room was clean but fairly small. Breakfast wasn’t much to eat so we had to go get food. Stores close by are closed. Pretty noisy overall. Would never stay here again.

Every thing was wrong with this booking!!! This establishment is falsely advertising it's facility and amenities. We got there to check in and was advised that there was a one hundred dollar deposit due on suites which was not stated in the site. Then we unload a ton of bags as we were here for a dance competition and was told there was no elevator, so we had to carry the bags up three flights of stairs. Then once we got into the suite it was horribly disgusting. The first thing I did was pull out the Sis bed and there were crumbs in the bag and the sheets were horribly stained... it looked like urine. I pulled the sofa bed and found a pill and a half smoked cigarette. I called the desk and advised them of the status of the room and the sheets but was told there were no sheets available and she completely stopped answering the phone. My husband called and they stopped answering for him as well. That morning my daughter went downstairs for breakfast and there was a bug in her juice. I am highly upset that I paid that much for a trashy room and horrible service. However I will be reporting this to the BBB...I have already sent them an email with pics and videos because I emailed facility night of and got no response.

Staff is nice, helpful. Rooms are okay. A bit over priced . Pools open. Lots of ice machines. Rooms: Decent sized. Clean enough. A bit out dated for price.however they do take cash.

It is very clean and affordable, I stayed here 3 days in Non smoking room and its really nice and clean ! No cockroach or bedbugs found here ! Little noice of train horns but it’s ok not a big problem, it’s not that much u couldn’t sleep . They provide clean towels and shower , overalls no complaints about the room. Couple things I want the property owner should knows what I noticed- Need a microwave in the room as they provide mini refrigerator ! No food service or coffee around ! No laundry or gym ! I’m happy to stay , will come back again if I ever have a chance , and I also feel proud to know that the owner and staff is from Gujrat India and they are very friendly. This hotel is an absolute dump. Our room was filthy. The bedding was dirty, what looked like a blood stain on the comforter, yellow “body spots” on the sheets. Literal dirt and hairs all over the fitted sheet. I went to the front to request more bedding so I could remake the bed. I was told they didn’t have any extra bedding. Once I got obviously frustrated and told them this was unacceptable they were able to produce sheets, no pillow cases or blankets. There was some sort of bug on the TV stand. I only slept 3 hrs in this hotel and feel like I’ve picked up a communicable disease. If I had not been so exhausted when I arrived at 2am I would have taken the loss on the room rate and gone to another hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! I’ve never stayed in a hotel this bad.

Nasty, nasty, nasty! As we drove up to our room,our only view was about 50 nasty dirty mattresses laying by a dumpster. The bathroom of our room had black mold on the ceiling!!Rooms: 1/5

the reasons not to stay at this hotel includes it’s was very loud because a train track is right behind the hotel and it goes by every 30 minutes and blows the horn and wakes everyone up, breakfast sucks, kind of dirty it is also by a popeyes that is vacant and vacant gas station that are creepy and also sketchy at night. i wouldn’t even tell satan to go here!! but the workers are nice that one up side. Nearby activities: there is nothing nearby you have to drive at least ten minutes just to get a gatorade from a store. Safety: not safe at all Walkability: the only place you could walk to is a sketchy gas station Food and drinks: breakfast is not really breakfast it’s was a sausage patty and some cereal that’s about it
