Days Inn by Wyndham Charlotte Northlake

Very loud rooms with traffic and construction going on around you. The TV didn't work. The room appeared dirty. The highlight was the service at the counter. Very friendly and nice. However, they would not let me use my AAA discount. Wish I would have gone down the road a few more miles to get a room.

I only put 1 star due to that being the lowest rating but this company deserves a 0 and should be put out of business. The hotel is INFESTED WITH ROACHES, the workers know about the big problem but continue to rent the rooms out. The pictures online are false advertising they have to be of a different Days Inn. The hotel lobby and rooms are very dirty. My room was never cleaned before check in, the ROOM HAD VOMIT IN THE TUB AND TOILET AND ON THE FLOOR. Also the room had a trash bag covering the smoke detector. I requested a refund and the Mgr treated me as if it was his money he had to give me…… -100 out of 10 will never recommend

This is the worst hotel. If you like a clean room, don't stay here. If you expect to stay the entire time you booked, don't count on it here. We were kicked out Saturday morning because they overbooked. Not our friggin problem, but we had to leave. All the guests were kicked out. The. Girl that took our reservation was clueless and the manager we spoke to while we were getting kicked out was rude and uncaring. There was no breakfast as advertised, although I wouldn't dare eat anything they offered anyway. There was no latch on the bathroom door. Everything was old and in disrepair, even the air conditioning and the front door. There was trash everywhere outside. And the supposed renovation taking place that closed off the entire lobby, looks like it was just being used as storage. We were totally ripped off and I'm shocked that the Days Inn brand would allow this kind of disservice!

Manager talked to us like we were stupid for asking basic questions. My boyfriend, who is with me, is a disabled war veteran. We ONLY ask hotels for veteran discount, so I did. He proceeded to tell me some form of jibberish that we already had a good deal, no need for a discount. That's fine no worries. I proceed to hop in the shower filthy, and in less than 3 minutes I have ice cold water shooting out, making me jump and ended up cutting myself. I get out of the shower, I go down to the lobby for a few band aids and asked, is there a trick to keep the shower staying warm? Again a very confused look and jibberish, everyone shower now, wait your turn. Ummmmm what just happened!!! Not worth the price we paid!!! Even an extra $35 early check in fee, even though it wad all ready. Wow!!

Horrible- had two rooms, both were filthy. Bugs in the rooms, uncleaned rooms, drywall falling from all corners of rooms and around doors, one room the microwave didn’t work, the other the tv didn’t work. Toilet wasn’t working - we had to fix it ourselves!

They’re in the process of renovating however the room I stayed in was decent. Definitely not any carpet they’ve replaced the carpet with a vinyl or linoleum flooring. My favorite thing about the hotel is that you have the option for a smoking room! These days having the option of a smoking room is almost unheard of, luckily Days Inn on Sunset rd in Charlotte NC still gives you the smokers this option…

I had to switch rooms a day after check in for to my bathroom ceiling leaking in 2 different spots. Staff kept barging in my room the first day, claiming the room was vacant, but I booked for 3 days out the gate. Location is horrible if you don't have a vehicle. First night, my next door neighbors partied ALL night long. My experience was HORRIBLE.

Room appeared to be clean but was scared all night do to the fact of a rat scratching on the wall. They came to the door 3 times at 11:00 am for checkout. Will never stay here again.Rooms: 2/5

First it's infested with roaches! To be charging people so money to stay! and then the prices are higher then they should be and the person that owns the place is very rude and nastyRooms: 1/5

People fail to realize that first impressions should be the BEST impression. My only regret is that I was NOT able to get the young lady's name at the desk when speaking with her on the phone. The young lady was HIGHLY disrespectful and the name she gave was "Jessica Rabbit" I implore these owners at these establishments no matter how desperate you are for workers PLEASE DO NOT HIRE people that do not care about your establishments because a bad reputation is hard to live down. The young lady who answered your phones on 7/22/2022 at 4:00pm is NOT a good look for your business. She is nasty and extremely unprofessional. And I refuse to allow my family/friends stay at an establishment that allows their employees to mistreat PAYING patrons....Good luck with that one....I now wonder if she is the same person in the comment below mine...DO BETTER SWEETHEART..
