Carpet is sticky but so are most budget hotels. We booked for two nights and think it’s a good value. Breakfast is just coffee, juice, cereal, and pastries. Staff is friendly! It looks like there is some mold in the air unit but It’s probably because it is old. That’s my only concern.
It was fine. Great price. There was a small pool; the room was okay. It was a regular small inn with no cooked breakfast but some simple breakfast options. I got spooked by a loud repid noise coming from outside. It could of been fireworks, gun shots, or probably just a suitcase bouncing on the stairs. I heard a siren before the noise so I was extra spooked. I shook awake by any little noise after that for a while. I'm not used to rooms stacked on top of each other. We safe and sound. Nothing happened after that or this morning.
Good 2-star motel. Breakfast is a granola bar with choice of coffee, tea, or juice, but I wish it had more options like cereal?. Laundry room is only available until 9pm. Room service provided fresh towels and straightening up of beds daily, with sheet changes every third day unless requested more frequently. Microwave and freezer/ refrigerator combo included. Several grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Most importantly, there were NO BUGS!!
Easy access from I-75. Clean rooms, comfortable king size bed, I had a trailer. I could park with the trailer hooked up. if I wanted to or not. Plus parking lot was super well lit. and the room was reasonable.Rooms: 4/5
All entrances are outside. A small detail I appreciated was the coffee machine. It ground beans for each cup and gave you multiple choices for coffee. I wish we would have had more time to explore Marietta it seems like a cool town!Rooms: 4/5
Only stayed for a night since we were just driving through but the service here needs lots of work. My mom called Customer service to find this location and when we made the reservation over the phone we informed them we had a dog with us. After we checked in I went to go get dinner and when I got back the second I opened my room door I got a call from the front desk saying we had an unregistered pet and will be charged $100 and was very rude over the phone. We went down to the front desk because we had mentioned when we made the reservation we had a dog with us but it wasn't put in the notes for the hotel, so the miscommunication was on DayInn side. We called daysinn corporate and they confirmed it was their error and told the hotel to reverse the charge and the hotel refused and claimed the room will be out of service for 3 days for cleaning now. Highly doubt they would sanitize the room since the trash wasn't even cleaned out of the rooms before we checked in and the carpet floor was a bit sticky. Hotel still refused to refund us even after talking to corporate and being notified we did Infact disclose we had a dog. Corporate said they would handle it. After that incident, we realized it's not an isolated issue of them trying to claim $100 fees. When we checked in there were people complaining they got charged an extra 100 and the hotel couldn't tell them where that cost came from. The rooms were okay, nothing special. My room door didn't fully close so you could hear air coming through the door, we pushed the door shut and the noise stopped but you'd have to hold the door all night for it to last. If you do stay here be sure to check how much you are charged and be aware they may try to tack on extra fees. Just like other reviews the breakfast was just coffee, juice and granola bars.
Nice parking lot. Handicapped parking and building access. They also have handicapped rooms set aside. Very friendly checking staff. Very well maintained building outside. Abit chilly to use the outside pool. I think it's closed for the season. Lobby is clean, well kept. Breakfast is a hot drink and a snack bar per person. In the lobby. Rooms are very well kept, updated, roomy, very clean. Our room opened to the outside, loved it. 100 dollar deposit if you pay cash. The room 2 queen beds was 98.48. Wifi was great, never down or sluggish. Loved this place!!! Checkout was a breeze.
So convenient to the highway. My room was very clean. The staff was great and made check in easy. Felt safe walking my pup. I travel frequently and really don't care about high end amenities. I'm looking for easy on and off to the highway, a comfortable bed and clean. Pretty simple. This place was all I was needing gor a quick one night stay ! Safety: Felt safe walking my pup on the property. Lots of outside lighting.
You get whatcha pay for. It was sleepable & shower able, but def wasn't anything too nice. Had a smell in the room. Kind worker at front desk.Rooms: 4/5
Lady at front desk was very rude and cancelled my reservation because she told me my dog was not the appropriate size to be a service dog. My dog is a certified service dog and i have a letter of medical necessity.
