DC Optics

Recently had an eye exam with DC Optics, for both glasses and contacts and I am a completely satisfied customer. Professional and genuinely concerned with my well being, this team answered all my questions and addressed concerns I had, and also helped me decide on the best looking glasses, for me. This office is kid friendly, clean, comfortable and has the best office mascot, Ollie, who will always make you feel welcomed and loved. If you are looking for an optician in or near Fort Greene, Brooklyn, you should LOOK no further. “Once was blind, now I see. Amazing Grace how can it be!”

Have been returning to this office year after year with my husband and kids. Great office and personnel. Clean modern equipment and good selection of eyeglasses. Dr. Cheng is very thorough and takes the time to explain the full health status of your eyes. Office is dog and kid friendly. Always felt welcomed and never felt rushed. The whole staff also actively supports community activities which you don't see very often!

10 stars, Dennis saved my life. I walked in off the street without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon as he was packing up, but he stayed late to treat my cut cornea. Kindest, best optometrist in New York.

The best eye doctor I have ever had. Very friendly, informative, and patient. I've always been very nervous about trying contacts, but I felt comfortable learning how to from Dr. Cheng! Very professional and helpful staff too.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Both Dr. Dennis and Michael were so friendly and welcoming. I was seen for a contact lens fitting and a routine eye exam by Dr. Dennis Cheng. The doctor was very informative throughout my entire exam. He explained every procedure and answered all of my questions. He was very patient with me and even gave me a pair of contact lens to try on in the store. He even helped me pick out my frames. Yes! The doctor who just performed my eye exam really came out from behind the desk and helped me go through almost all of the frames in the store until I chose a pair I loved. He also checked the prescription on the glasses I purchased from elsewhere and Michael fixed the issue I was having with those frames right in the store. Most other places I've been to are overcrowded and overbooked, with doctors and staff who barely remember your name until the time comes to bill you. At DC Optics, you will get real attention and amazing service from professionals who will take care of you. I've been telling all of my friends about them and I hope my review encourages others to visit them. You will not be disappointed.

I had the eye exam about a month ago at DC Optics, n I was very happy with the exam. My doc was very knowledgeable and thorough with explaining the whole procedure and he did NOT rush me to get out of the door, so that was awesome! : A great patient care and friendly service! The store also had the cool Eco-friendly glasses, so that was really nice! Highly recommended to anyone who's looking for a new optometrist or want to purchase the glasses/contact lens!

The BEST BEST BEST eye doctor in all of Brooklyn!! Absolutely recommend! Dennis Cheng is one of the nicest, and informative doctors I have ever met with in my entire life! Thanks to him, I'm now able to wear contacts despite having an astigmatism. So for those who also suffer from astigmatism, don't get discouraged!

Do you want to feel like family when you visit the eye doctor? This is your place. I was attacked by a rescue dog and my eye lid was severely injured and Dr. Cheng made it a point to fit me in and check my eyesight, despite being booked and busy. Everyone working the front is so kind and friendly, especially the little frenchie Ollie! 10/5 stars for DC Optics.

DC Optics consistently goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. On my first visit, I was amazed how personable and professional Dr. Cheng is. He provided an efficient eye exam with top notch equipment and then a very clear explanation how some minor tweaks to the types of contact lens I used would make a big difference to me. After a month of testing my new contacts, I've become convinced that Dr. Cheng's recommendations were quite helpful. In short, as a new customer, I was highly impressed with the service I received and very grateful to have them in the neighborhood.
