Del Mar Apartments

From the start of coming in for a tour until the day we moved in, the whole experience was 5 star customer service. We have lived here almost a month and we could say that we are so happy to live in the Del Mar community. The whole community is well taken care of and very clean. the manager and the whole team are responsive to your needs. The leasing manager, Rene and his team are super helpful and friendly. We requested to move in one day earlier than scheduled and Rene was so quick to accommodate our request.Thank you so much for such great customer service and going above and beyond.

The moving process was super simple, fast, and easy. Soon after we finished the tour my mind was made up to move here. The amenities are great, and Neighbors are nice. My Apartment was in top shape not to mention the community is kept up with daily. Noah was very helpful, Rene Was also very helpful, and Adriana is very good at communicating. They always answer my calls and I’m always satisfied after our conversation. Such a great place to live.

I have been living here almost three years. I was looking for certain amenities and a safe place. The amenities are great. It is quiet and I definitely feel safe. They told me when I moved in maintenance requests would be handled within 24 hours.They also take good care of the property. Almost three years later and that is still happening. The staff provides excellent customer service. Del Mar is a wonderful place to live.

I’ve lived here for about 7 months now and I’ve had zero issues. It’s a nice apartment space and everyone is nice. I like the constant interactions that this property has with their tenants and the giveaways they provide. It’s cool to see a property caring for their residents and doing nice family things. My calls and e-mails are always answered. The office team is amazing with communication. Adriana and Cynthia always help me the most. The maintenance team is awesome. They complete any task in a timely manner. I’m pleased with my home and would recommend others to live here. Thank you Del Mar!

Recently moved in april of 2022 and things started okay. our first month in and cabinets fell off the walls right away, all of our towel and toilet paper racks fell off as well, had multiple violations because we have a third vehicle which required us to use our 15 day guest pass and after finishing the 15 days per month had to park in the neighborhoods in the surrounding area which is a far walk as I work graveyard shift and have to walk to and from my car early mornings and late nights. now fast forward to end of August beginning of September 2022 and our AC unit was replaced and has not been working since the beginning of August. We have reached out to the leasing office and maintenance regarding this issue for over a month and counting they continuously bring the same vendors who come in and do absolutely nothing to fix our air conditioner. We are in the middle of a heat wave. Our apartment has gotten as hot as 102° inside. The last I spoke with maintenance and was told they would have fixed our air conditioning yesterday which is the date of September 9 we are now waiting three extra days for the part that was already made clear had been ordered and delivered to the vendors so we will be waiting more days in a heat wave with no care shown from the leasing office. for the amount that is asked for us to pay to live here at Delmar it is absolutely ridiculous that this issue is not fixed right away. Mind you there are four adults and a child and we have family visiting for the week which was made clear prior to the last visit from the air conditioning vendors. we have been expected to share a portable air conditioning split between all of the people in the household at the moment. if you were considering live here just be prepared to pay an extremely high amount for a little to no good service.

I’ve been living here for about 4 years, it’s a nice complex with a lot of great amenities. The staff is kind and do a good job at keeping everything clean. A huge down side is the parking. Especially, on the Elm side. There are hardly any spaces available and the ones that are, are difficult to park in due to it being a tight squeeze or because people don’t know how to park. The staff does a poor job at enforcing parking rules. They are quick to put a sticker on your car if it’s not registered but will leave a car that has flat tires and collecting cob webs for several months. They also just painted the complex a horrible color scheme that does not blend well. Overall, it’s a nice place to live…if you don’t mind being blinded by the horrible baby blue color they painted a few of the buildings.

I've been a tenant at Del Mar for about a year now and it's been a positive experience. Whenever we have an issue with something, someone is there to respond. The location is perfect and nearby shops, restaurants and parks. We will definitely be renting again for another year.

Great overall. Biggest issues are 1. cockroaches - around August to October I see 1-3 dead roaches every morning dead thanks to the exterminator around vents or really any crack in the wall and 2. When living in first floor the second floor neighbors music resonates downstairs quite a bit if they like listening with bass even with like an Alexa. When I first moved in I made the mistake of asking the neighbor to turn down the music because I was trying to work, and got a pretty passive aggressive call from the leasing office to not talk to neighbors and just call the leasing office, and made it seem like it was my fault for voicing concern over them playing loud music. Felt pretty gaslit. Maintenance responds quickly and does their best to get things fixed fast. Very good area, wish they had more events though. Taco day was fun.

Well, I've been here six years and counting... that should tell you something. They are currently repainting and repairing the exteriors of all the buildings, so the place may appear kind of hectic... but it's temporary. The complex is a Lewis property and centrally located to everything. Victoria Gardens and Ontario Mills, the Quakes stadium are all just a mile or two away. The neighbors are pretty chill, the apartments are huge and they have a bunch of floorplans. The complex is huge, it was built in 3 phases... come check it out!

My apartment had not been fully cleaned when we moved in, there were cockroaches in the cabinets. The garages are tiny and unfinished. Cockroaches everywhere in there if you leave anything edible overnight. My fridge was broken when we moved in, then they tore up the linoleum putting in a new one. When replacing the linoleum, I heard then order quote "the cheap stuff"... They are quick to get their money, but I've had maintenance requests go unanswered for weeks. Now they've started construction on the only entrance to my apartment, during Christmas. Out there at 8am banging and sawing all day. They didn't even inform me. Update: they asked me to call the office here, so I did. Richard told me that there's construction going on outside my apartment. Thanks Richard. I was not aware already from the constant hammering on my walls.......
