A treasure in Bay View! Kathy Howell's business Bodies in Motion is located here. Kathy is the best physical therapist in the city! She has helped me recover from several surgeries quickly and with care. Delaware House also has a beautiful dance studio with lessons for all abilities, private personal training, clinical skin care treatments and many other holistic treatments that are available. I've used several of these services and love them all!
I got hooked on salsa dancing after attending one of the First Friday Salsa Socials. I started taking classes with Matt and Betsy soon after, and have been visiting the Delaware House on a weekly basis for classes ever since! It's a very clean, open, and well maintained facility with a wide variety of services. I come up from Racine each week, and I know of others who come from out of town as well to take advantage of all the Delaware House has to offer. I highly recommend checking it out!
I have taken dance lessons at Delaware House with Martin Cawston for about 5 years. It is a welcoming establishment that gives the community of Bayview the feel of friendliness and good old fashioned neighborhood warmth. Taking ballroom lessons with Martin allows me to develop my passion for dance, Delaware House also offers many other wellness services, massage, fitness, various classes and physical therapy. Certainly an asset to a small neighborhood one can enjoy being a part of.
My husband and I take ballroom classes here and have a great time. You can do private lessons or group classes. If you're not into dance they have a trainer to work on getting/keeping you in shape, yoga for the inner you, massage therapy if you over did it, acupuncture, physical therapy and an aesthetist to make sure you look your best. It touches on all aspects of wellbeing.
My wife and I have been taking ballroom dance lessons from Melissa and Martin for quite a few years and they are just wonderful. The entire building offers a wide variety of holistic and standard treatments for the body, mind and spirit.
Love Deleware House. Kathy is amazing...best PT in town! Dance lessons are so much fun. Jessica is patient, fun and quite a dance teacher.
I see Laura at the Deleware House for massage and she is a master at her craft. She stays informed on upcoming methods in massage therapy and has really worked with me while tending minor injuries from running, biking and swimming.
My first visit was a salsa dancing social, open to the public. I had never danced salsa before. It was a very fun experience. The studio was clean and modern, and the staff was kind, curious, and professional. It was a great value.
