Been living in Chinatown for 16 years, Finally feel like a local shopping here. Very busy all day! Fresh good food. Very Reasonable!!!! Went again yesterday, always good
I'm a bit upset at myself for not finding this place sooner, having lived in NYC for 10 plus years. Bought 1lb roast pork chopped to order, rice cake the golden brown and sweet cakey kind, and the roast pork pie pastry. All were 5 stars. Next time, I want to try roast pork rice box and their fried buns.
Pick up your items at the different stalls and pay at the cashier. Baked goods, congee, sushi amd sashimi, prepared dishes, fresh veggies, tons of different cute of meat, roast duck and pork. Be prepared for a lot of pushing, it's crowded! But if you can brave the crowds, you'll get some great groceries. A Chinatown experience.
I meant to take more pictures but this place can get really crowded . amazing staff. I received some of the best help I can find in nyc. A must go if visiting or a first timer. They have fresh food, fish, beef, chicken and veggies. This place was so cool to go to.
Three words - Pan. Fried. Buns. Just get them. Overall great selection of hot foods and groceries. Cleaner than the other markets that I wandered into but super busy and the check out area is crazy chaotic. Part of the experience I guess.
Great market to pick up cooked Chinese foods. Often has great pricing/deals. Can be very busy.
Clean. Prep or fresh beef, pork, poultry and fish. Vegetables, too. Overall, it is okay. If drive, hard to find parking.
