Denizens Brewing Co

First off this a brewery. So I will review it on the beer and service first. Both are very good if you get a chance to go. I personally like their Tripel. The downsides to this particular establishment however is their food. At one point in time they had a partnership with BBQ bus, and the food was absolutely fantastic. However, that partnership ended, and as such, it has been less than fantastic. Mind you it is not the worst, but Scion down the street is much better, and the food was significantly better during the BBQ Bus period when they first opened. It's not horrible mind you...but there are better choices in the area for food.

Denizens is an awesome neighborhood spot. The outdoor beer garden is bustling. Folks bring their dogs out. Kids are enjoying some Cornhole. Nice diverse crowd of beer drinkers. Their beer is great too. I'm partial to the Chi Chi. I highly recommend this place if you like a nice relaxing atmosphere and a good beer.

This place is a wonderful vibe. It's lively and fun. The food is pretty good too. Not a lot of vegetarian options, mostly just things you could snack on, except the quinoa burger, which is quiet good. The beer selection is excellent, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Tasty eats and local beer in a spot that's close to Silver Spring metro. In the spring, summer and fall it's fun to just chill in the beer garden. Inside, there is an upstairs and a downstairs section with seating. Both areas have bars and restrooms.Taps include seasonal brews and the occassional guest collaboration. They also have wine and cider for those who don't like beer. There is a public parking lot a block from the restaurant, bring your change for the meters. They sell their own canned beer and will fill growlers.

Tasty beer and amazing atmosphere (picnic tables! Fire pit! Corn hole! Dogs! String lights!) but the food is hit or miss. French fries, brussel sprouts, and burger are out of this world; chicken tenders were passable.
