Denver Rescue Mission Lawrence Street Community Center

This place is a bust wouldn't send my worst enemy there. If you really knew what was going on in there you'd would want the doors closed and have the building torn down. It's geared towards the men then the ladies. When it's cold in the winter you would have to wait till it was below zero just for them to let you in from the cold When they first opened the doors they would go threw the clothing and keep the men's clothes and throw put the ladies clothes The ladies had to fight just to get into the shower while he men could go shower at anytime they were open just go ask for a towel the ladies were on a lottery show basic only. Ladies showers you had to be he first six in the morning and then after lunch be the next six ladies And what ever news told you is not the full story The police hated being called to that place once an hour they are called there were more fights in there then they wanted to talk about people were getting stabbed, fingers cut off ( Wallace we love you), they don't tell you the bad about a place they only want to talk about how good they are with a pat on the back which no of them should get Point blank this place needs to be torn down and keep it down see how many beds they give to the men what happened with the ladies Men who violated children go there Ballpark people you had it right on not wanting this place to be built but sorry to say this but whether or not you won they were going to build it anyways I wish you ballpark people would of understood what is going on in there you wouldn't be very happy I'm telling you this cause a year ago I was down there when I found out stuff it made me sick to go there it's not a safe place for the ladies Ballpark if you ever want info come to me I got the info and I know a lot of ladies that will say the age thing It's just a crying shame that the men have more rights in there then the ladies I'm telling you to get it shut down do it for the safety of you children And no kids were in there unless it was a holiday and they serve you a holiday meal All those turkeys they cooked up got a lot of the homeless sick with food poisoning What is this another form of population control yes it is If it was so safe -why did they turn people away - why did they have so much more for the men then the ladies cause it wasn't meant for the ladies - everytime they scan your card they would get money for you to go in there you go outside and go back in card scanned money do it again another chick of cash for them and they don't use it the way they say they do I could go on about this place a really blow ballpark residents minds stuff they don't know about

They'll kick you out if someone steals something from you. Don't use. I would give them no stars if I could.

When I needed help st my lowest they came through and gave me the opportunity to change my life for the better I joined The New Life Program it renewed my faith to get and stay sober .I now have a job and a place yo call home.
