What an amazing office! I made my appointment at 7:45am and came in a little earlier, they scanned my QR code and I had my application with me, so they almost took me right away. I’m very impressed! People are very helpful! The office is clean and well-renovated.

Went for new ID. Reserved an early appointment, 730 am, online. I was done in about 45 minutes. Efficient system to keep things moving. Not crowded, bright/well lit and clean inside. Conveniently located around the corner from Bowling Green Station on the 4/5 train line. This DMV office was providing thorough, professional, timely service before a pandemic & reservations. Glad they still are. They are my go-to DMV office.

The staff at the DMV are very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and have a great personality. The system is get a ticket and wait for your number to be announced on the digital board. This place is very clean and runs with efficiency. You are in and out in a few minutes. Make sure to have all your documents ready when you're called to the window.

Transferring my out of state license was super easy. I was out in 20 minutes. very helpful and surprisingly happy team for first thing in the morning! Great job guys.

Man, this DMV is awesome, one of the best I've been to. Came in to exchange my out of state license for a new York license, and from the start, when you walk in the door, they immediately have people helping you and pointing you in the right direction. It also helps that it isn't packed especially in the morning and people are quite friendly. Took my photo within 10 mins of walking in, called up 5 mins later, person helping me A. Ross was great and took maybe 20 mins to get through all the documents and get registered to vote. Total time was around 35-40 mins. Absolutely great experience.

Today, I had to register my vehicle with very little time before my temp tag expired. I could not afford to have anything go wrong. This office is a well oiled machine! I arrived 30 minutes early expecting to wait another hour but to my great shock and surprise, my number was called before I even found a seat! I should mention too that the greeter who gives you your number to be called was also really on her game about directing people. She was also very pleasant but I appreciated her efficiency the most. The DMV agent Garcia I hope it's ok naming the agent whom I was assigned to was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and just an all around pleasant person. I had my application pre-filled and my complex application breezed right through. The last time I was there, a few years ago, the young man who helped me was the same, knowledgeable, efficient and polite. The other DMV locations I have been to before this one were horrid. The manager of this location 11 Greenwich Street must be doing a great job because competence usually flows from the top down.

Needed to exchange an out of state ID for an in state. Completed forms ahead of time and brought all my documentation to my appointment. 6 people and 1 hour later was the process complete due to multiple mistakes on their part. Mistakes happen but it’s how you fix them that are telling. The employees I worked with made this a wholly unpleasant experience and were so incredibly rude every time I asked a question about the extra steps in the process that I hadn’t read about online. Turns out the extra steps were mistakes and answering my questions would have saved us all a whole lot of time.

Never thought I’d post a positive review of the DMV, but this location defied all expectations. I made an appointment, came with my docs filled out, and was in and out in about 15 mins. Amazingly efficient.

Made an appointment and was seen almost immediately. Ms. Davis was so helpful in navigating the lack of information on the states website. She and her team broke NY stereotypes on customer service/attitude as they were so kind!
