Dermatology Associates

I am very frustrated with Dermatology Associates. I had rotator cuff surgery a week ago and the sling that I need to wear for 5 more weeks, hangs across my other shoulder and neck. I have a skin irritation/ skin tags under the sling strap. I have been calling daily to see if there has been a cancellation. I was offered an appointment in January. The sling will be off by then. So I can't get in to fix something that is painful. It is a good thing that all doctors offices are not run this way. Imagine calling a MD for the flu and they offer an appointment that is 8 weeks out. Just bizarre.

Love this place. Dr. Luzi is the best!!! I've always struggled with painful cystic acne and tried everything OTC possible but nothing worked for me. I went to Dr. Luzi and was prescribed both a topical and an oral medication and saw results within 2 months. 2 years later and I still return for my checkups as a completely clear-faced and happy patient!

A very professional and pleasant environment. Dr Heald attended to me and my issue very promptly. I arrived to my appointment 30 min. early and was actually walking out prior to my appointment time! I am sure just lucky timing. Please take the earlier poor review with grain of salt, unfortunate circumstances happen, but this is a very good physician and office support.

Terrible office! Was given an 10AM appt. Arrived early 9:50 to do paperwork. Was made to wait 60 full minutes while 6 other patients came in after me and then left within 15-20 minutes. When I approached desk to inquire I was told (before I even opened my mouth to ask) that my appt was scheduled for 10:30 and that I would be next. I knew this new so-called appt time was just an excuse. I'm finally brought in and was then left naked in the exam room in a paper suit waiting for a doctor for over 20 minutes. I walked out and was given smack talk behind my back by one of the check out receptionists. Nice huh? Unacceptable. Unprofessional. Was warned by others who have gone there this is there normal business practice. I chose to give them a chance for the convenience of being in NM. They proved the rumors correct... They RUDELY make you wait a ridiculous amount of time - as if you don't exist. When my husband went a year ago same happened to him except Dr. Buscher rushed through his appt without addressing all of his concerns... and literally walked out on him mid question. Steer clear of Dermatology Associates!! Do not waste your time!
