This place was incredible! A whole day of exploring there wasn't enough; there is so much to discover! The paths are very level and easy to walk on. A good many of the plants are labeled, which is amazing seeing as there are around 50,000 desert plants from around the world in this one Garden. If you like nature, you're going to enjoy this place. They do have water fountains and water-bottle-filling stations at the entrance. Make sure to stay hydrated as you wander the myriad avenues of the magical garden.

This place is so beautiful. It's so peaceful to walk around and look at all the flowers and plants that there is available. They have events in the evenings during Christmas time that is definitely worth going to. There's also kid-friendly events during Halloween one here they had a pumpkin patch that with admission the kids were able to get a pumpkin and decorate it. As well as hayrides and other fun games. We also went with Girl Scouts and we received a badge. It's definitely a great place to take your children or take out-of-towners to show real Arizona.

Went here back in the beginning of March and it was a perfect day to go. The cost may seem high to other people, but when you look at how much new information you’re learning and the visual experience, it is totally worth it. I was at the botanical garden for at least 4 hours and saw so many beautiful plants I wouldn’t be able to see elsewhere, unless I scoured the Southwestern deserts for them. I really enjoyed the butterfly portion of the garden. There was a mesh building built specifically to hold them and there were so many different species of butterflies within the building. I highly recommend going, but go before it gets too hot in the late spring.

I wasn't actually at the gardens. I was here for the Ballet Arizona performance. Of what I was able to see, the Gardens would be a wonderful place to visit. Just be extra careful of you come here during the summer months. With highs going well above 100°, the risk of heat stroke, overheating, or even death are high. Drink lots of water, wear sunscreen/sunblock, and wear light colored clothing.

With the performance, Ballet Arizona always performs well regardless of the show you go to. The dancers are extremely talented and totally defy the laws of gravity. Whatever you do here at the Gardens, you'll sure to enjoy yourself!

I absolutely love the gardens. Each trail teaches you something different about the desert. Make sure to plan plenty of time. It's bigger than you may think. Also wear comfortable shoes! There are drinking fountains throughout but the water is pretty bad and unfiltered. There are also vending machines throughout with water. They accept cards so you don't have to worry about having cash
