Recently I had to have the hard drive on my system removed and combed for any available data that wasn't too corrupt to be pulled. DCS provided expedient service, and their friendly staff were quick to answer any questions I had regarding what was capable of being pulled before the transaction concluded. They even did a courtesy repair on the external I purchased that backed up on the data from the corrupted HD. A repair that was needed due to an error I made while trying to copy files onto my new HD. Overall I couldn't have asked for an easier, pain free process. Between the experience with my first purchase over a decade ago when they were still selling out of a living room, to now, these guys will absolutely be my first go to source for repairs, and used products. Thanks again for the excellent service.
Great place to responsibly recycle your old computers. I have been taking our old company computers there, usually 6 old desktops at a time. Simply pull around back, walk around to the front desk and let them know that I have some desktops for recycling. Someone meets me at the back door and I'm done. Just like that. Certificate of destruction hard drives available for a fee if needed.
I reached out to this company via email regarding recycling a few electronic items. They quickly responded and were very nice. I was able to finally get over there today and they were just as nice and professional in person. I would definitely recommend this business.
Can't be happier with their professional and efficient help during the crisis when my surface pro broke down. It took them just about 24 hours from taking my laptop to diagnosis to changing the battery involving removing and putting back the screen safely without breaking it and getting the device ready to run again! Jennifer took time to clearly understand the problem and explained to me possible ways of handling. As I shared that I urgently needed the data within those two days, they were very kind to immediately work on the order. Manny followed up quickly after his diagnostic check and explained to me that the root cause was with the swollen lithium battery. I was lucky that their inventory of that battery just arrived at the store, so Manny proceeded to work on the replacement right away and finally got it ready to go with another half day or so. The best part is that he did his best to keep the screen intact so I could save the $50 from replacing the screen; this is definitely customer-oriented service. Their communication was friendly and helpful. They were willing to answer my questions patiently and share the status update with me. Not to mention they really showed empathy and made me feel better when these technical problems could be frustrating. Thank you! Highly recommended!

I am new to the area here in Tempe. I tried contacting a few stores to help me with my issue and this place told me to come in and they would help me even though it was not something they typically do. The gentleman on the phone was very kind and helpful and so was the lady who assisted me when I arrived. She already knew what I was there for meaning they communicate very well with one another. Very clean and professional place. They can work on your desk top, laptop and many other items I'm sure. They seemed to have alot of knowledge and lots of rebuilt computers all over displayed new and used options for good pricing for school, college or business. High performance gaming towers too. Anyways, great place, no I don't work there but I do feel good reviews should be given when earned. And for me they made things very easy today. Thank you again both of you! Michael
I have purchased many computers over the years but Desert Computer Solutions has provided my best experience. All my questions were promptly answered with expert advice and direction. Any issues I had were resolved. I was treated like family throughout and I highly recommend them.
I work in customer service, so I'm very sympathetic to these kinds of things generally, and I have honestly never gone out of my way to leave a bad review, but in this case unfortunately I believe it is warranted. I dropped off my laptop for a repair and I was given an estimate of one week for the repair, since they needed to order the part. Long story short, I ended up waiting three and a half weeks, and every time I wanted to get a status update, I had to reach out to them. The delay was due to USPS weather delays, which I completely understand; however, there was just a complete lack of communication from them. I gave them an opportunity to make things right by bringing it to their attention, and ended up receiving a $5 Starbucks gift card as a consolation. I think in a normal situation, with no shipping delays, things would have worked out just fine. It's been a couple weeks since I picked it up and the laptop is working fine. I was just disappointed with the customer service which I do not take saying lightly, believe me.
Great service, super friendly. My computer wasn’t working took it in to get a diagnosis and turns out it was my charging port. They fixed it in timely manner. Definitely coming back for all my tech needs.
