Desert Valley Pediatrics- Arcadia

This practice does not require masks like they said. The allow parents and children over 2 not to wear them and the doctors don’t even cover their noses. Not o my that, they don’t follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for well checks and will spend the whole visit trying to give flu shots rather than properly examining your children. They also won’t return calls, leaving you with the only option of urgent care.

Dr Spiekerman was the best Peadiatrician we have had. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I cannot recommend him enough! The staff is also friendly and always accommodating when it comes to appointments or when our son was sick. The only regret we have is that we have relocated back to the East Coast. Thank you all for the great care you have provided us with!

The doctors here are all amazing! I've never had an issue making an appointment, I've never had to wait, and I've never had any problems with billing. I have seen every doctor at this location, they listen and genuinely care. No one has ever been rude to me and I have never been kicked out because I've never shown up late for the last appointment of the day. I will never go anywhere else. If you are looking for the best care for your infant or child, in the nicest part of Phoenix, I would highly recommend this office.

Refused to see my kiddos because they missed ONE appointment! Our insurance wasnt active so we chose to miss one appointment with communication to this place. Now they wont see our kids, and I absolutely dislike their third party call center. They absolutely suck and cannot do anything for people. This place has a great facility and the docs will take great care of your kids. But anything outside of that, is ridiculous.

Dr Speakerman is the best pediatrician! I drive almost an hour to see him. My baby was in the NICU and ALL of the nurses recommended him! I don’t know what else would let a parent know he’s awesome. My son is now 6 years old and Dr. Spiekerman moved from another office, but I followed him to his new Arcadia office. All my 3 Littles see him and they love him, too. He is personable, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He tells it like it is and gives personal feedback as well. He also talks to the parents with parental advice if you ask! He is wonderful. I do hours of research for everything and he is hands down a top pediatrician!

As a Nurse I hold my doctors to a high standard. My childrens doctors standards are held even higher! I truly love Dr Spiekerman. I take both my 14 year old and 6 month old to him. I drive across the city because I know how difficult it is to find a phenomenal doctor. He's made me laugh and hugged me when I cried! Most of all he talks to my child as a person, not just me. Please don't be turned away by these negative reviews... you'd be missing out on an incredible doctor. I don't work with or for him and wrote this review for those reading who are looking for a great doctor! Visit him, I promise you won't regret it.

Wish I had something positive to say about this place. Dr. Speakerman prescribed my son the wrong kind of cream for a skin issue he had that turned his skin to sandpaper. After getting a second and third opinion neither the pediatric or dermatologist understood why that was prescribed. The front desk is terrible!!!! We just got a collections letter in the mail for a $30 copay that should have never been charged in the first place. We tried contacting Desert Valley Pediatrics multiple times to see why it was sent to collections after it was supposed to be taken care of with no response. There are 1000 better options for your children than this place. Trust me.

These people are always good to my son. always try to fit me in the same day if he is sick. I find good genuine healthcare hard to come by, and these people genuinely care about my baby. I highly recomend this place. from the doctors to the staff I have never had one problem, and they are always patient and caring. I am so greatful.

AMAZING!! Let me say if you need a pediatrician and live anywhere near by Arcadia this is the Best place for you and your little one. I'm a new parent and have had some speical needs for my new little one and eveyone from the doctors to the office team have been so incredible helpful, compassionate and patient! I have been so impressed and thankful to have them as my daughter's doctors.

Went here for almost a year with our son until we got a certified letter saying the doctor would no longer see our son due to us not giving him shots. We had discussed this with him before hand and he acted like it wouldn’t be an issue. But then a few months later we got the letter, wish he would’ve been upfront and honest about it from the start so we could’ve found a different pediatrician......
