DICK'S Sporting Goods

This sporting good store has an incredible variety fishing products. I was very impressed by their selection. It's not as big as a Bass Pro Shops, but it is pretty sizable. Folk are very friendly, and quick to offer assistance. What more could you ask for?

I'm torn on what to rate this Dick's. While I go here frequently they seem to have a sort of lack of grasp of reality with regards to what people around here need. For example, almost all of the chest waders they had a few years ago were men's size 13 - an entire wall of men's size 13 waders was great... if you wear men's size 13 and are particularly hard on waders. BB steel shot is great if you're goose hunting but we're kind of short on geese in the lowcountry so waterfowl hunters tend to use #4s or #2s. I've also had to dig to get shoes in my size. That isn't to say they don't stock these commonly needed/more practical sizes, it's that they clearly overstock the outlier sizes and understock the more common sizes.

Found what we were looking for with ease. Pretty good prices on some items. Very expensive on other items. Friendly fast, helpful staff, very clean store. Will shop here again.

As always you can find any and everything you need in dicks however I do feel they need more floor Associates. Because when you need help there is no one to ask. Each and every time I have went into Dick's Sporting Goods I have never found anyone on the floor when I needed help or needed a question answered.

You always have to go searching for a long time to find someone in their department to ask for help. That's kind of annoying. But they have a good selection.
