3 stars for the food, 5 stars for the service. some food is better than others. the turmeric citrus salmon bowl was incredible, one of the best cooked and marinated pieces of salmon i have ever had. the chilaquiles on the other hand were mostly soggy and the pulled chicken was dry and had little flavor. service on the other hand is impeccable i had the dude with the glasses serving me
One of my top favorite spots! I originally was a Stan of Dimes but the Deli is even more accessible and equally delicious. I love the egg breakfast sandwich and the pickled salmon bowl. The tahini cookies are also incredible.
You know I love about this Deli? Just ability everything. It’s well designed interior is so welcoming—just like its staff. Dimes cares about design and quality products, produce, books, snacks, and so much more! Dimes is a modern day sundry shoppe offering its own products, like candles & lip balm. Stop by for some fresh fruit on the go. It never disappoints.
You really appropriate queer culture by using queer slang created by black people in the ballroom community… what is “Its giving… pasta” ??? Be original please. Don’t take what isn’t yours honey it’s gross and unflattering. Unless you’re an unseasoned bird.
Açaí bowl was great! Granola was especially crunchy - you can tell it’s made fresh.
Wonderful small cafe specializing in California eats: bowls, smoothies, sammies. I recommend the berry acai bowl for a refreshing start of the day. Fashionable, hip crowd.
Can’t get enough of this place. Unique and delicious breakfast burrito with the fluffiest of eggs and tasty mango salsa. A weekly staple. However the red pozole is hands down one of the best soups I’ve ever had. Even in 90° heat, I’ll gladly slurp it down while sitting on the sidewalk. And the cayenne lemonade is perfect.
Unique and interesting options all delicious!
JAX is The Best Server EVER; fantastic beverages…excellent food.
Addicted to the Breakfast Sandwich and have been coming religiously for the last 3-4 years. Service is always ok and I'm not a fan how they try to make it table service. I always order without bacon but often receive bacon anyway, no big deal - I just pick it off and make sure I'm not charged for it. Today however the server wasn't apologetic and told me that I was incorrect, this is what I ordered and that I've misunderstood. I haven't eaten bacon in years and very firmly ordered no bacon at the counter I'm a little annoyed by this interaction. Basic customer service here would have been great versus accusing the vegetarian.
